Some feel best up to 4-5k. I'm comparing them now to my 3K+ ATC SCM 19s. Revela's would cost 2-3 times that if they were made in the UK, US, etc.
Try to fix your audio man. Very difficult to discern.
Closer miking might help
We have invested in a microphone, as we agree it was too hard to hear! Video's should be clearer from here on out :)
How do these compare to the Diapson Astera's ?
The Diapason Astera are vastly superior, however they do come in at considerably more money (around 5x more expensive) so it would be expected. The Diapasons are made from real Walnut, and have superior cabinetry work and components, so you get better detail, more dynamics and more 3 dimensional depth. In saying that below £2,000 the Quads are still giving you much of this, but to a lesser degree. The Quad Revela for its price is exceptional.
Just got its first poor review here in the UK, from What HIFI. I guess they don't like neutral.
