The swordsmen group was more dense, they were in a smaller place on the start so at all times they were in advance against the assassins who was basically just walking into their deaths one by one.

more swordsmen made it into battle more quickly, which is the only reason they won, and usually its the other way around

assassins fight easy but still lower defense

Assassin's normally lose to swordsman since their damage is similar to a swordman but their armor is way lower than a swordsman also assassin moves faster so it's for fast attacks and kills
