Hey! I'm Japanese. The ones you should definitely react to are "The Beginning", "Clock Strikes", "Wasted Nights", "We are" and "Stand Out Fit In"! Of course, all live versions are recommended!
If you're looking for heavier stuff with a lot of screams, i recommend these: - No Scared - Mighty Long Fall (Yokohama Stadium 2014) - Deeper Deeper (Yokohama Stadium 2014) - Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer - One by One (Saitama 2015) - Liar (Saitama 2015) - ONION! - Juvenile - Re:make I love their LIVE performances at Yokohama Stadium 2014 and Saitama Super Arena 2015 I also strongly recommend *Stand Out Fit In* orchestra 2018, it has really positive vibes❤️🔥 Waiting for more OOR, thank you!!
I got to see them last October and their presence is just so fun! And just like Jonny pointed out one thing that is awesome about both Japanese and Korean music - especially rock and pop is they have amazing crowd interaction and almost use the crowd as an instrument themselves writing sort of those singalongs he mentions. I only really ever see that in hardcore metal shows nowadays it seems. Great reaction. 💜
Yes 🙌🏽 more One Ok Rock…they’re absolutely 💯 Amazing. They have some GREAT MUSIC 🎼. I’ve only been reviewing since before the pandemic 😷 but my favorite is “Fight the Night” it’s more of a ballad but with the orchestra it’s beautiful. The other band I love is The Warning Band..the Villarreal Sister from Mexico. They are a three member band but their live performances are great “Disciple” or “MARTIRIO”. Heavy than you should react to Rammstein a (German band) “ANGST”. If you want to review someone with a unique tone and a five octave vocal it’s Diana Ankudinova from Russia 🇷🇺. She’s very young but incredible. She is very unique ..I would recommend her cover of “Sweet Dreams” she performed live during her participation on the MASKED SINGER a copy is provided by a fan named KWSTAS. Thank you for reacting and supporting OOR, I love their music 🎼. 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸❤️🔥
@@kuroneko7022 I live in Brazil, did they perform here? Mmmm I'm not a K-pop person, just a good music person, that's why I love BTS and I like One OK Rock.
😅 i was king is nowhere near to any of their real heavier stuff. But its still a great song. Try Liar, Mighty Long Fall, Take me to the Top, No Scared. And all live versions too.
When you said, "I Was King" was heavy...I was like "who told them that?" It's a great song but definitely not heavy. You have to go to the earlier albums for most of the heavier stuff.
You want rock listen to "make it out alive" for the video game monster hunter it's pretty hard like their older stuff it has been listen to 3.1 million in the last 2 weeks
Great reviews. "Cry Out" (live) is another great one if you want a bit more rock from this band. If you like the sing along anthem type songs "We Are" live is a great one as well.
Yeah........ The moment you guys were saying you were told that this song is heavy, I definitely went 🤨🤨🤨. This song may be heavier than what you've listened to up until this point but it's not really considered heavy when you talk about their entire discography . If you're looking for that guitar-heavy type of sound, check out "NO SCARED" at Yokohama Stadium. Conversely, if you want bass-heavy, try "Deeper Deeper," also at Yokohama Stadium. Richard mentioned he liked the drummer. Tomoya is a drumming god. He's so charismatic and fun to watch when he's in his element. Check out his RUclips channel TOMOYA STUDIO where he drums ONE OK ROCK songs and then explains the key points to drumming the song (the videos are in Japanese though). Looking forward to your next OOR video!
You recently mentioned 5 seconds of summer, so I guess you are somewhat familiar with them. First of all, Take what you want is actually an OOR and 5SOS collab. But also this reminded me that they also did a concert with an orchestra, some songs are on their RUclips channel if you would be interested in that. Also, I'd say one ok rock definitely has harder songs. Especially the old ones :)
The heaviest I've probably heard Taka involved in is "Skyfall" by OOR feat: Masato (Coldrain), Koie (Crossfaith) & MAH (SiM). They were pretty amazing doing that live from a completely empty Stadium in October of 2020 to help fans get through what was happening in the world. The most amazing part was the energy. The whole band performed like that stadium was packed. There is a reason they have so many fans around the world. I think my favourite song by them is "Clock Strikes" followed by "We Are"
I have to subscribe, at least just to see another reaction to One Ok Rock. And yes, that's not their heaviest song. You have to listen to Deeper Deeper or No Scared, or all the recommanded songs from fans, all of their songs are incredible.
Their heavier song "One by One" live at Saitama super arena 35xxxv tour will give you Linkin Park vibes. There are very few bands that can do that and do it as incredible as OOR does. But if you're looking for a slower song you should try their newer song "Your Tears are Mine" studio session 5. It's one of their most emotional songs. After hearing it Taka seems to have gotten even better.
Yay! another One Ok Rock reaction :) If you get a chance I'd love to see you guys check out Clock strikes at yokohama stadium I think you would really enjoy it :)
Honestly i wouldn't consider this one of their heavy songs at all 😅 although this song is from a full orchestrated concert which i do greatly enjoy. Hoping to see more one ok rock from y'all, and lots of commenters have suggested great heavier songs too!
Have yall done their orchestra version of fight the night yet??? Also Tomoya (drums) has his own RUclips channel if yall wanna check it out too (Tomoya Studio)
This is another amazing song from OOR. Love the lyrics. The energy of OOR live is extraordinary. A rock concert with a whole giant orchestra is fantastic. Tomo, the drumer is soooooo goood. Their old albums are heavier. We love the "red mic era" with screams and all. Then to do the contrast he did an Adele´s cover with his amazing voice.
Thank you for your reaction. “I Was King” I love this orchestral version. It's a nice fusion of rock and orchestra. By the way, right after watching this video, I was surprised to see RICHARD appear on a Japanese TV program!! You have a Guinness World Record!! This coincidence really surprised me🤩
It was a TV Tokyo program. The program featured various videos that have become popular around the world. The performers and I were both surprised by the long tone, which lasted over two minutes and said, ``Wow!''
?? Im not sure if I would consider I was King a heavy song 🤷🏼♀️.. I would choose Liar, Onion, Deeper deeper, Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer, or any song that came before ambitions IMO that's when their sound started to shift
I'm not sure I'd call this heavy. It is a good song tho. The Ending Story with Orchestra is Heavier. The only video for that song is a live mix. that uses the video from a previous non orchestra performance mixed with the Orchestra video and just the audio from the Orchestra version.
Oh boy. Can't wait for you to react to We Are (Ambitions Dome Tour) because Taka was feeling sick that day but the performance still slapped. It's not as heavy because their heavier songs are from before 2014. +1 for Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer on the heavier side though. It's a favorite.
I drove 6 hours into another country (Canada) to see one ok rock as on opener. They are honestly so good. These live videos are amazing but nothing beats hearing them live. Definitely recommend We Are (live at the Japan dome during their ambitions tour I think), and I haven’t found amazing live versions of these songs but the studio version is amazing, I reaaaally recommend The Beginning and Stand Out Fit In
ONE OK ROCK (paper planes) held at Saitama Super Arena in Japan is the best because you can see very interesting taka! I really want to see it. Also, I'm curious about the live version of another new singer ADO's odo and how the voice of the recently uploaded song SHOW is. NEXT of NEXT please ❤
It's funny how you mentioned that people were saying that this was a heavier song of theirs, because unlike all of their older albums, the album that this song is on, "Ambitions", had much more of a pop rock feel to it. You should react to their most popular song "The Beginning" live at Yokohama stadium Mighty Long Fall tour. It's going to take you guys awhile to see just how much they can do. There's over a decades worth of live shows for you to enjoy
Also do more from The Rose! Alive, you're beautiful are their most recent releases, but childhood, time live at the Joshua tree, beauty and the beast also a must
Beside One ok Rock, i want to suggest different band and artist to you guys Wakagi band a very great band in Japan, they mix traditional and modern music instrument together for the artist, i want to suggest Jeff Satur from Thailand, he sing English song very well, his voice is very attracting and powerful
Please react to morissette amon sing rise up Acapella version with 3rd avenue and never enough in wish bus radio station please react for this coach thanks
Thank you for your reaction, it was great. But I think that one of TAKA's best live performances, in my opinion of course, was the song "Fight The Night - ONE OK ROCK (with Orchestra Japan Tour 2018 Live Mix)", a MAGISTRAL interpretation, flawless.
Since you enjoyed OOR so much (and I highly recommend checking out more of them) another outstanding band you might have heard of and that I encourage you to react to is *Muse*. For them I don't even have to suggest certain songs or performances, because whatever you choose, you can't miss. It'll be fantastic. Muse is my all time favorite band and an absolute powerhouse in live concerts with brilliant vocals and guitar, insane bass playing, and phenomenal drums paired with great musicality and lyricism. I really liked your reaction, keep it up!
I really love your reactions and comments you have about technical, vocal and musical aspects, I always watch them, especially your reactions to BTS and ONE OK ROCK, I hope in the future you can react to DREAMCATCHER !!!!
Hi, I’ve been watching your reaction for a while maybe you want to try to react to a Filipino Boy band call SB19. They are from Philippines 🇵🇭 they have a lot of songs to be offer too❤ thanks I’m a new subscriber 😊
Would love to see you guys do a an "old vs new" type video where you react to two songs: their oldest known recording "Keep It Real" music video and then one of their most recent live performances as a way of seeing how far they have come! Keep It Real still holds up as one of my favorites by them but its a shame not a lot of people know it at all or have done reactions since it was released in 2006 and the quality of the live video is pretty terrible 😅 but i love it all the same
Next One Ok Rock - We Are (live) please
You can feel a sense of unity with the audience.
Japanese audience is the best.
“We are”(Ambitions Japan Dome Tour)
Amazing live!!!👍
Yup, then clock strikes, cry out and good goodbye 😊

I love their LIVE performances at Yokohama Stadium 2014 and Saitama Super Arena 2015
I also strongly recommend *Stand Out Fit In* orchestra 2018, it has really positive vibes❤️🔥
Waiting for more OOR, thank you!!
Thank you!!
Yes good list!
A vote here for Deeper Deeper so you can hear Taka scream!
Loved the reaction and camping out for more OOR and BTS!!
AGREE the screams are here! One By One is good too!@@JL-sc3pi

TAKA has the most Amazing Vocals. This Japanese Band is Incredible. TY for reacting to them. 🙆🏻♀️❤️🔥🎌🎼🎸🙌🏽
Army here! I love Taka's voice and of course, the group is awesome!! They would be known internationally! I mean, performing all around the world.
They DO perform all over the world! Of course since you’re Army, you wouldn’t know that.🙄 KPop people coming on a Japanese rock band song.😡
@@kuroneko7022 I live in Brazil, did they perform here?
Mmmm I'm not a K-pop person, just a good music person, that's why I love BTS and I like One OK Rock.
Why would anyone recommend i was king as heavy song 😂 if you are into heavier stuff Liar might be it
Good to know!! Ty
Please please please react to ONE OK ROCK - Clock Strikes 35xxxv Japan Tour 2015
I was king is heavier? Damn new fans really don't know what they're talking about lol. Their older stuff is way heavier.

Fight the night - orchestra version
We Are - ambitions tour
Mighty long fall - 2014 concert
Stand out fit in - orchestra

for some of their heavier stuff, please check out ONE OK ROCK - 3xxxv5 Take Me To The Top LIVE specifically the one with green haired Taka(vocalist)
TAKA's vocal range is amazing!
