I went to their concerts several times.
I think Taka has a higher quality in concerts than CDs.
I think One Ok Rock will become more popular if there is a way to convey the sound of live performances directly.

you need to check out Paper Planes live at Saitama Super arena 35xxxv tour. you will LOVE Taka's crowd control, adlibs, Toru and Ryota change instruments, and Taka kicks Tomoya out of the drums and takes his place :)))

Loved your joint reaction, and I'm so happy you get the chance to see OOR live! Please check out "Wasted Nights" (Eye of the Storm tour) and "Mighty Long Fall" (at Yokohama) next- those songs were on their recent concert setlists!
This Premonition tour is going to be something special because it isn't an album tour. I'm going to the Toronto show myself.
Because you love how OOR writes their songs you should see how they can rearrange their music depending on the venue. The best example is Mighty Long Fall. First watch the live version at Nagisean which is a heavier version. Then watch the Day to Night live acoustic session. It's incredible how much they changed it. The performance of deeper deeper at that show is also amazing.
This band is so versatile, they can literally turn from ONE OK ROCK to ONE OK JAZZ😂

Soooo excited for One Ok Rock Countdown till the concert!! They have 10 albums with over 100++ songs, so lets start listening half of them first lol
The Beginning, Clock Strikes, and Wherever You Are are obligatory songs for any tour, you need to memorize them.
For world tours outside Japan, they rarely perform older albums that containing full japanese lyrics, so it's better for listening/watching their live performances for the songs on the 4 latest albums, which have more english lyrics on it.
But, there are some older songs that forever will be OORers' favorite and must watch, eg : Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer, Liar, Answer is Near, No Scared, Chaosmyth, Re:make, Let's Take It Someday, Ending Story??, Be The Light, Nothing Helps, and many moreee
Eye of the Storm is the most pop album, it's good, but ngl that some fans are not really into it lol. But, i love Stand Out Fit In, Push Back, Wasted Nights, and Change. On the last tours, they almost always perform Stand Out Fit In and Wasted Nights
For some certain songs, it's better to ask OOR fans first about what is the best live version for the song. It's not that we are picky or anything lol, but OOR did a lot of improvisations during live concerts. They could be so far different each year. For example:
- Wherever You Are (Ambitions Tour 2017) short black haired Taka
- Ending Story?? (Orchestra 2018)
- Stand Out Fit In (Luxury Disease tour 2023 for more focus on the crowd, Orchestra 2018 for more focus on instruments composition)

Oooo im so happy for you! I saw them 3 times live, those where the 3 beat concerts of my life, and I’m a concert goer, ant least one e a month I have to see live music so it’s a lot to say haha. Here in Latin America they play a lot smaller venues not even 1k but the energy was INCREDIBLE they only know how to give 120%

Richard, you're gonna love the OOR concert! I had been to one of their concerts 6-months ago and I was blown out of the water. I had seat tickets but I was standing, singing, jumping and dancing the entire show, while waving a big banner for them. It was like at a football match, you will be cheering the entire time and end up with no voice to speak with the next morning, I did😂😂. Be prepared, memorize their last year tour's setlist, please..you dont wanna end up mumbling in their crowds, their gonna be singing! Oh and i must remind you, since the concert is not in Japan, the crowd will be singing the entire time, no silent moment to rest 😂😂. And i am a fan of John Reaves live as well, i cannot wait for you guys to show up together at my favourite rock band's concert😂

My bias is incredible! SB19 has all the tone as a group deep, high, middle, middle lower and middle higher tone... Im so proud of them... They are versatile and can sing different genre.... I have always loved One Ok Rock and above all I love their Live performances. Taka in particular is impressive, but lately I've been wondering if their live DVDs/Blu-rays weren't retouched in the studio. Taka is too perfect. In your opinion, is it possible that the live performance is not "100% pure live"?
