I bought one of these from a school jumble sale when I was about 8 in the early 1970's, it will have only cost me pennies because that's all I had to spend. The only thing missing was a ball, I used a marble. It was well used but worked perfectly and smoothly. Had hours of fun with it and once the novelty had worn off I donated it to the next school jumble sale (with the ball sellotaped in one of the corners). Those were such simplistic & happy days.
I had this game in the 1960’s. It was originally supplied with a chrome ball bearing around 6-7mm in diam, I was forever clogging the ballbies out of the stadium & loosing them. Lovely restore!.
o thats so cool, I didn't realize the purpose of the indents everywhere till you started playing. of course you'd need those so that the ball could actually be hit, since the players can't move. That's a really smart way to do that, almost becomes turnbased instead of a more active play like a foosball table.
Very nice object. Never seen anything like that ever. Looks like a lot of fun to play too. Impressive work. Just painting all the figures surely took you many hours...
This is so cool!!! My friend's brothers had one of these years ago. I always liked playing with it, but they didn't like me playing with it. You brought it back to life!! What a great job you do!!
Extraordinario.
This is the first time I have seen a soccer game like this. Great job in bringing it back to life. I think you should of put a little more slack in the goal netting. A little more details on the players.
Wow, amazing! The design of a soccer field is one of the coolest things to see. And interestingly, to keep the game going, the ball always stays close to the players because of the slope of the area where the players are positioned. I like that! I've never had one of those, but it reminds me of my childhood. ❤⚽
What a beautiful restoration! I am always impressed by how your restorations make everything look brand new. Thanks for sharing this and I am looking forward to your next tutorial.
What a brilliant game. The time lapse of the powder coating always looks like magic 😊. It must have taken you ages to do and your work is a beautiful as ever. 😊👍
Magnifique restauration.
clever design, players doesn't need to chase the ball, the ball always land at your feet!

The skill and the care shown in restoring this old, rusty toy to its former glory are just exemplary! ✨🙌👏🏼
So glad a wonderful vintage toy is saved. C'est magnifique.
I couldn’t even tell how the game worked until you sandblasted and I saw the angles in the metal.
Ditto I couldn't figure out how the ball would just roll around.
Awesome find and a beautiful work 😊
What’s up cool again
Nunca vi nada igual, impresionante. Una obra de arte.
A beautiful piece. I had a similar game back in the 80s but mostly in plastic.
Great work! A pleasure to watch you bringing it back to life again.
I remember playing on one of these as a kid in the 70's, brought back great memories and fantastic restoration there. Many thanks TheFabrik. 👍👍

Oh thanks a lot for the info ! I didn’t know it was a ball bearing initially. Glad to bring the memories back 😉👍
but how so? a ball bearing type of machine, which looks like a donut?
This was the PES or FIFA Soccer of its age.
Excellent work
2-3-5 tactics, that was nice attack 70 years ago! :D
Fabulous! I watched that with a big, stupid smile on my face. Love it 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Another Masterpiece of restoration
The definition of painstaking. Impeccable work.
Guardiola's instructions: don't chase the ball, stay in your position & the ball will come to your feet!!
That's a pretty clever little game, well made
As a football fan and someone with ocd tendencies that was incredibly satisfying to watch
Thank you sir 🤝
Great work; maybe using a smaller and heavier ball at the end would make it more realistic.
I agree
yes, originally it was a smaller chrome ball. Salco produced a british version of this french TechniFoot product.
I remember a game with magnets.
It had beautiful small plastic balls crafted as those orange balls used in the 66 world cup.
Great restoration, so simple ,a kids game...but so complex in restoring it. Thank you for taking the time to get it right.
All I can say is Wow! I could take apart but all the patience to clean and put back together is amazing. Love it.
From 1950 to 2024! 🔥
Excellent work, man! 💪
Very nice object. Never seen anything like that ever.
Looks like a lot of fun to play too.

Great restoration. I wished you painted the marble like a soccer ball at the end
a vintage brown leather ball

Excelente trabajo.
Reminds me of the 70s game striker where you pressed their heads lol great work
Top.

Espetacular restauração, mantidas todas a bases e, principalmente, todas as características e detalhes do brinquedo original.

The goalies are freaking out as their teammates are being drilled in half 😂
Parabéns. Ficou lindo!!!
