Awesome adventure! We watched your first video to Curacao and went to the Blue Room based on your recommendation. Loved it.

Beautiful vlog! Hubby and I were just there for one day on a cruise and LOVED Curaçao! We would love to return and do a snorkel trip just like y’all! I really enjoy your vlogs. You do an amazing job filming…very impressive how you capture the beauty of Curaçao! 🌴🦩🌺🍹

LOL we skipped it altogether! No redemption, but we did do Klein again, and had a blast! Wasn't the same without you and the family though :) hope all is well!!

@@jendoriott well there are better mountains to climb anyways;) The shipwreck at Klein however is as impressive as ever. Bet you enjoyed telling Ryding about the crazy Dutch family you met last time! That was a great vacation. Did you find some hidden gems we haven't seen yet? All the best for the holidays:)

Thanks for another great Curacao video! We're heading there on Friday :) Or last trip there was 10 years ago. We've also purchased the Tropical Snorkeling guide. I have a question about the wind and snorkeling conditions. Was there a forecasted wind speed or above that you would say was a cut off for not being able to snorkel? Any spots to snorkel that are calm when other spots are too choppy?

Woohoo, enjoy your trip! I can't comment on the wind aspect, but we've never had an issue where it was so windy that snorkeling was difficult as a result. I wouldn't sweat that much :) should be no problem

Question I see you have also been to Bonaire too. Also based on this video you liked it enough to return to Curacao. I was between the two places Curacao and Bonaire for our next trip in December Which island was better in your opinion overall as far as the attractions, shore snorkeling, and just the feel like you are in a magical place. Based on this video though now I think Curacao is it!!! It will be just me and my husband as kids are all grown now. I love the water in the beach and the salt pans from your Bonaire video but but it seems Curacao is much more scenic with the mountains, cliffs, and rolling hills and with the various bay beaches to snorkel and that seems more of what I’m looking for. I have my eye on a bunch of those gorgeous ocean view home rentals in Curacao. Is that place you are staying called Playa Lagon Resort? I have also looked into staying there it looks awesome!!! is there a certain villa or owner there you can recommend as I see a few on Airbnb. It’s a shame some of the pictures of these units are not the greatest so it’s hard to tell. That place looks even more gorgeous in your videos!!!!I do want to visit Bonaire one day but between the two they seem very different. I have been to Aruba three times already and looking for more this next trip. Last question was that a stone fish in your video at 6:36?

Both islands are great, but are quite different. If you are an avid snorkeler, and want to snorkel a ton, and that's your primary reason for the trip, then Bonaire is for you. If you want to do some snorkeling, but also chill on nice beaches, and maybe do some other activities, Curacao would be a better fit.
We stayed in Lagun, and just look for an airbnb that has good reviews, and you should be happy! Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

What is the name of where you stayed? Pros/Cons? Is it air conditioned? We stayed at Avila and loved it but next trip would like to stay further up the island maybe near Playa Lagun.
