New sub here! This Christmas concert during the pandemic was a high point of my life listening to music. Gorgeous. You know each one of these ladies can sing beautifully! All remarkable musicians and entertainers most of them also play other instruments other than their main one. 😊

@grandparentsreact you don't know this yet but BandMaid suffered during the pandemic. They have 2 love songs to fans About Us which was to debut at a massive concert at Buddocan- huge arena for long past Olympics big venue. Lots of famous rock bands played and recorded there. The show was canceled since Covid reared it's head just when Japan thought it was whipped. I will try to find a link with Saiki's speech to the fans. It was streamed again no audience. During the 2022 US tour they wrote a song to fans called Memorable. You can find lots of fan cams of this live on stage or view the official MV which features Miku alone in the Sonoma desert. They love us and we love them. A really cool video about the whole defeat of plans and triumph over Covid is the MV Unleash !!!!!. Part anime and part regular footage of the Maids it is a banger! Sorry to go on so long, but Grandparents, hear me now and believe me later this a real proper Rock band. The founder Miku calls it a miracle. Never was a band this good this century so far. OK 👍

Thanks GR. This song is from the Maids' Christmas acoustic concert 2021, greatly appreciated by fans, and the only concert given without their Maid-costume "battle gear". The Maids performed acoustic arrangements of songs from their usual hard rock catalog.

@@grandparentsreact What Paul forgot to mention is that the Ladies basically rewrote the songs the songs for this concert to make them appropriate for the acoustic guitar. Many bands would just play the same song without making adjustments for the tonal differences. But not the Ladies of Band-Maid. You can really hear the difference with both Catharsis and Sayanakidori. They took somehwat hard rock songs and made them into something very delicate and just as good as the original. Actually many of us think the acoustic version are much better. :)

The acoustic set is one of the best Christmas gifts I've ever gotten (released Christmas '21). FYI, there's another one from that show -- Catharsis -- on Band-Maid's official channel. If the DeepL translation is anywhere near Miku's original meaning, the POV of the lyrics are of someone looking back on a relationship from the past.
