Mate! Greetings under torrents of typhoon rain! Another difficult to classify Band Maid song. A fast happy-go-lucky ballad or an ironical poke into everyday life? Great reaction again! Take good care of yourself (ves)! Best regards, Robert-Gilles
When I met them, each of the girls had this otherworldly, iconic beauty that left me moved to this day. There's something extraordinary about Kanami, Saiki, Miku, MISA and Akane that goes beyond their music. I don't know. Maybe it's their light... their presence... their innocence. Whatever it is, I hope they never lose it. I don't think they will because they're also genuine. Thx, 2G!
Seattle will be my first time but i too feel that charisma and it is so natural and seems to flow effortlessly during their live performances. I always feel like the band is unaware just how Magical they are :)
You can tell that Kanami composes this stuff in her head. You could sit with a guitar for days and not get anything like this. She goes to the piano or guitar with this stuff already sorted in her head before she starts- Genuis. Lovely jazzy chords in the acoustic version.
I think the charm of this song is that it is not reaching out to the western listener...just Japanese girls doing Japanese things. I never skip their album tracks...just love the flow from start to finish...or "Oh...oh" to "Shut Up!" In the case of Conqueror 😁 ❤👍
I really like the original because it’s so catchy and fun sounding but the acoustic was turned into a beautiful sounding masterpiece 🤘🏻. Thanks for the reaction 2 gen
I like the acoustic version much, much better than the original. In the acoustic version you can hear Miku's beautiful voice so clearly, perfectly harmonizing with Saiki, and above all, you can hear Kanami's mesmerizing guitarwork.
Wow ! “Mirage” is the one song off of Conqueror that grew on me the most. It’s a beautiful song with great vocals and amazing guitar work from Kanami. The acoustic version is so well done with Saiki & Miku really shining with their beautiful harmonies, just another great performance by the maids and pretty much my favorite acoustic version yet.
Mirage is such a good song, and the way they wrote it for the acoustic is mind blowing. Such a cool re-interpretation of their song. Loved the reaction 2 Gen!
Even though it's the same melodic structure, the reworked instrumental lines in the acoustic Mirage make it almost a new experience for me. The composition in the original and the acoustic arrangement are both exceptional.
This song followed Page in the Line Cube Shibuya concert and I love it almost as much as the LCS Page. The vocals, the artifacts placed over Saiki's in particular, are dreamy to me. The acoustic version is simply icing on the cake and a chef's kiss in one big bow wrapped present. At first you would think there is no way they could keep writing these fantastic songs, then you are praying that they never ever stop writing these fantastic songs.

I have to be honest, I have mixed feelings about Mirage. It's still a song I enjoy but sometimes I feel that Kanami has too many ideas going on in her head and instead of making multiple songs out of them she throws them all into one song - that's how Mirage is to me, a bit overwhelming. The simplicity of the acoustic is my favourite of this song.
I am sure a lot of fans feel overwhelmed at times, i see Mincho as an artist overflowing with creativity and she is living her best life As well as the Band as a whole. I am thankful for being around to witness the journey :)
@@baddhorsie8318 Well said. If Mincho wants to do an acoustic composition of "Don't You Tell Me" as a Christmas present for me then i'll say she's the most awesome woman ever....No wait, i say that anyway.🤷♂️
@@GaryHolloway-810 Thanks Gary, i always feel guilty if i focus on just one band member but Mincho pours everything she can into everything she does and before i even start typing a comment i know my words will be inadequate. After years of watching and listening i still wonder how are they this damn good po :)
@@baddhorsie8318 Never feel guilty. They're all so talented that on many occasions one Maid in particular deserves special praise & on others the whole band do. They just never fail to keep on surprising us.😄

Mirage is one of their most picturesque/impressionist art-like songs imo.

That's why the LCS version is my favorite version of this song. The acoustic is a close second.

In my opinion Mirage is a masterpiece. I love both versions.

This is a song that really grew on me and my favorite from the acoustic show.
4:01 You know Miku and Saiki are going to sing to you but it alway's comes as a happy surprise, while Kanami is a beautifully distracting us.!
MAGIC!!!
So, this popped into my head during the acoustic: "You can feel the smile in Saiki's voice." That sentence makes no sense, but...it's true 🕊
Mirage from LCS is still my favorite but acoustic is something else.
This is a song that i'm torn on. "Mirage" lives up to it's name, it promises to grab me so many times but never quite does. I'm only being honest.🤷♂️
I'm not torn on it, but it tears me up. The acoustic tears me up. I'll leave it to the reader to figure out which homograph is which.
That Minchu solo is dope though.
@@_DriveTime very well said. Every B-M song moves Maidiacs in different ways & that's a good thing.🥲
@@kent-oveprestberg3578 Hang on....yep my Truthometer reads 100% true.👍
the music fits the title and lyrics so perfectly. I just close my eyes and follow where the music takes me...it's magical.
