At least it all ends well.

Just got my first helmet and while reading the instructions and having the helmet in my hands I had a ton of questions! This video not only gave me a reply, but also showed all the tricky parts! Thanks mate!

I’ve just done this for the first time I’ve never even taken a visor off a helmet before it took me 5 minutes and was super easy. You make it look so ridiculously difficult I can’t get my head around it!

Thanks for this video, was trying to install one and was convinced I had the wrong size! Randomly watches you trying and suddenly I could see it before you got it in and bam, straight in! Haha bloody pinlocks.

Holy shit that was painful to watch haha. I've done tons of pinlocks and I actually fitted one yesterday in about 10 seconds. For future reference, the visors are made of polycarbonate which you can NOT snap by bending. All you do is hold it more or less flat and just slide the pinlock in.

I have a yellow lens with a pin lock insert. I have a Shoei RSFR helmet colored white for visibility. The yellow lens cuts all the blue light glare and actually sharpens my view up. I never need sunglasses with the yellow lens. I have light sensitive eyes and the lens works great. You did fine. Now you know how to put the insert in and next time it will be easier. Have a great day. I also use the cards packtalkbold. It syncs up with your phone for nav, music, phone, and communicator.

I'm glad I watched your video so when I muck about doing my install I won't feel too bad. HaHa! The instructions say not to wear it in low light/nighttime? Have you had any issue doing so? Thanks

Thanks, mate, that's why I put the video up, to show things don't always come easy to everyone the first time. To answer your question, I haven't personally noticed any issues with visibility at any time of the day.
