We have used a Sqeezo for over 30yrs and when we found this machine it was such a work saver. I bought the 1/2 horse model and tomatos go in without boiling them and are whole. At the end we reprocess the skins and pulp and they come out almost dry.
It’s 2020. Bought this unit 5 years ago with the meat grinder & sausage stuffing attachment. Great purchase,& I highly recommend it. We process give or take 20 bushels of tomatoes a season with it, no issues at all. The Fabio is a workhorse .
I love mine, they are great machines! I would recommend the optional spill guard, I made a bit of a mess the first time I used the machine and got into a little trouble with my wife. She ordered me a spill guard the next day and I haven’t looked back! Another thing, don’t wash the white o ring, used on the filter cone, in hot water or it will expand and be hard to fit next use! I just rinse mine off in cold water. Klaus
Really great tool seems to save you a lot of time. However the one invention I would love to see is where you could have one of those vegetable strainers that would fasten to your meat grinder. Now that’s something I would like to see being made.
Hi Russell, Thanks for the comments. These can certainly be used as a meat grinder by attaching the meat attachment! Here is the link below, please scroll down on the page to review - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/electric-tomato-squeezers Have a great day!

Yes, you can do a variety of fruits and vegetables with these machines. It is recommended to blanch the fruit or vegetable prior to passing them through the machine to soften them. The Fabio Leonardi will remove skin and seed and leave a fine puree.
They sure do, check out the other videos below. Berries - ruclips.net/video/Z6quV0wWFuo/видео.html Peppers - ruclips.net/video/LNPN8oxVMoc/видео.html Peppers with meat grinder attachment - ruclips.net/video/kzXryNoC_x4/видео.html Ciao for now!
Hi there, thanks for the questions. Here is the link to the Fabio Leonardi tomato milling machines - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/electric-tomato-squeezers Thank you!
Is it possible to do this without boiling the tomatoes? On my instruction manual it *seems* like the directions imply you can process tomatoes without boiling them.
Hello, you can certainly process raw tomatoes with all Fabio Leonardi models. The model in this video is the smallest Mr2, you should cut raw tomatoes into at least quarters or smaller. If you would like to process whole raw tomatoes you would need to move up to a stronger model like the 1HP - MR9.
Hi Krisi, Thanks for the question. Sorry for the delayed response. You can use this to make onion paste, you would need to peel all the onions and blanch/boil them to soften. Then pass thru the machine. Link to Fabio Leonardi machines- www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/electric-tomato-squeezers/brand_fabio-leonardi? Cheers! Consiglio's Team
Hi Bryan, different recipes exist for both raw and cooked tomatoes. The model we are demonstrating is the smaller Fabio Leonardi Mr2 1/3hp model. With this model it is recommended to blanch the tomatoes to soften them, otherwise, you would need to cut them into smaller pieces. If you are interested in doing whole raw tomatoes the Mr9 1HP models are better suited and have the largest SP5 tomato milling attachment. All models can be viewed from the links in our description.
@@Consiglioskitchenware Hi. I just purchased the MRO 1/2HP SP3 machine. Can I put raw cut tomatoes into this machine? Or do I also need to boil them first? Thank you
@@matelasprincesse7856 Hi there, you can certainly put raw tomatoes in the MR0 model. The MR0 has the medium-sized Sp3 tomato milling attachment which is larger than the tomato milling attachment on the Mr2 model in this video. We still recommend cutting the raw tomatoes into quarters with the MR0 model when passing raw. It is also important to never run the machine dry, always put tomatoes into the hopper before turning the tomato machine on.

How many quarts or pints does 20 bushels produce in sauce?
@@treelover4615 One bushel can yield anywhere from 10-20 1L jars (10-20 quarts) on average. This is highly dependent on the quality of the tomatoes.

How much is the machine?
Hi there, you can click the links in the description above for the most up to date pricing on this and other Fabio Leonardi models.
I like the sauce but who's doing the music?
Why did you boil the tomatoes? I thought it was unnecessary!
