    You should explain one defense at a time and not show too many things white can do all at once and expect a beginner to learn. Just complete one variation at a time.

      Though a lot variations might confuse our memory, one variation isn't enough for a good prepared game, not even for beginners. Knowing other variations help us understand the ideas and purpose of the opening.
