Hey Jennifer. It really depends on how tight the curl is. If you can stretch it a bit as it dries and achieve a loose curl/wave, it can look really awesome.

I have a curtain fringe, I've gone to the same hairdresser for years now and I've had the fringe over a year now. The cowlicks can be managed by blow drying with a comb like we do in this video... ruclips.net/video/jmlpavrEd8c/видео.html And, because your hair is fine, it might be necessary to have blow dry from a little further back on your head to bring a bit more hair forward and add density to the fringe
