Love the low rpm cackle of that rd6. @Squatch253 got me hooked.

Doesn't just run, it moves! Pretty cool.

Indeed but not perfectly, I’ve currently got the entire rear end disassembled to fix one of the steering clutches.
been debating on uploading some videos of that project. It’s a bit technical tho lol

not all that practical these days, but the old equipment sure is a treat to play with just for fun. Gives you appreciation for how technology has evolved

    I have a 1936 RD4 wide gage with a cable blade.

is it a runner? Small cable operated machines are fairly uncommon where I’m at, always love to see them

@@AntiqueEarthMover12 it does run. Pony motor needs some work. This machine is the one that Terry Rouch scaled the blade for Gilson Rickey's 1/16 cat D8.

Possibly #3 injector is crapped up I think. Makes noise if you put a listening stick up against it. It did get better after running a bit. It’s got about an hour on it now. But still making some clattering noise.

@@wilmamcdermott3065 this has original fuel oil in it from when it was parked 40 years ago. I was thinking of pulling the injectors, cleaning them and running some ATF. could be as simple as a plugged screen honestly.
