Did this canopy and tent hold up? I’m looking to purchase the same setup and will be camping nearby a lake with the possibility of high winds and rain and want to ensure it won’t collapse
I only used it once so far and it rained like hell...storms and wind...for 2 hours. There was a small drip near a corner that would have been no big deal but it was right above my head and moving the bed wasnt going to happen as two weimaraners and my sleeping wife werent moving.. The tent stayed dry otherwise and survived the wind however we had it tied and staked down very well. In the morning I realized I left the roof vent open. I didn't even know it was there. Oops. I think it's likely water got in there. I should have closed it. I think it's great for rain and mild storms. If you get caught in super high winds I doubt it will be ideal but most tents can't handle that either.
@@snakeclaw thank you for the update! I really appreciate you! Sounds like it was pretty sturdy. I cannot seem to find an Ozark Trail canopy tent that doesn’t have the easy push up bar in the middle. Looking for a canopy tent that would be compatible with the 2 in 1 tent
@@ameghannd5927 lol, they definitely did us dirty putting that pole there. They should just make it removable or make it so it’s extendable and folds up. I’m going to try to get the ABCCanopy 10x10 canopy tent and see how it works out 😂 I’ll come back with an update
They are on my wife's phone. I may have lost them. It rained like hell for hours. It was a good test. The vent at the top leaked a bit. I didn't know there was a vent there. It was in the open position. I'm not sure if the water leaked because it was open or because it found its way through a seam. It wasn't a bad leak but the water ram down the roof and would then drip near the edge about where my head was. I rigged a tarp to push the drip away from me on the inside above the bed. I should have closed the vent as air flow through this tent isnot a problem.
Great job, review and best part showing how to assemble solo.
Also thanks for the video. Enjoyed the "Trial by Fire" approach to setting it up.
Thanks for the video. Did you have to take the insert off to pack the canopy in its carrying bag?
Lovely, so far your wife has yawned 4 times😅
I have an ozark tent, do you Think it will be compatible with an academy canopy ?

@@Xkyleeann are you sure? I've never seen a 10x10 popup that has a center pole
Did your 10x10 have that pole to push up in the middle? I can’t figure out how to get rid of it lol
No.
I’m dealing with this right now myself 😂 I cannot seem to find an Ozark trail canopy tent that doesn’t have that damn push bar.
@@Xkyleeann so what I did eventually was I just didn’t hook all the way towards the top just on the sides and that worked 🤣

@@Xkyleeann lmao!!!! For real! I had all my tools out almost took it all apart. I was mad lol! Yea, definitely let me know how that works!!!
So did the doggos destroy the tent in the end?
There was one 3 inch razor slice in the door fabric from a dog paw. It was easily repaired with tape
so....where are the other 2 videos? did this tent leak?

Will a ozark trail 10x10 slant leg work with the connect tent?
Probably but with mods. You won't be able to tie onto the straight legs. Instead you'll probably have to bungie to them.
I can’t take it any longer, why don’t men READ instructions first
Best comment!!!
