@@SoulBC I'm going to see if I can disable the ones I don't want to use and just keep the ones I like, I think you mentioned about editing the ini file I just need to find it and play around with it.
@@CluelessDadGamer You can most definetely disable the poses and stuff and just have the backpack and such. Just remember if you use Drop on Death and HIGGS the point of it goes down significantly
My head exploded when I saw my name there!! >_< This mod is awesome and I really think there is not enough tutorials for it on youtube. I use it for a long while now, I'm specially found of the gestures thing but I agree it takes a while to get use to then, and you need to come up with your own system of which gliph will be the best to each spell. But after you get that muscle memory thing going, its super intuitive. I use mostly the features gliph drawing, potion drinking, and lockpick, not a big fan of the backpack.. never managed to figure out the shout one.. which is a pity because vrik gesture takes too long to set up ATM I have a big problem using it with the other mods because of the 2 buttons hold to draw.. gets in the way of higgs for instance..
MageVR is a mod that is definitely something that players need to invest time into to get used to! I also understand the frustrations of using it with Mods like HIGGS and such. As I mentioned in the video, I would like some of these to be a standalone. For Shouts, Powers and Spells I just use Spell Wheel VR and sometime VRIK gestures. For my VRIK I use it for Spellsiphon and Swap Drop and Hold.
(Sorry for my bad english) Hey man, I just discover your modded skyrimvr videos and there are awesome ! For my part, I allready have a too much moded skyrimvr but you just showed me new mods that will be certainly essential in my loadorder. Great job ! Keep going ;-)
If I could recommend a mod to cover, the frostfall campfire mod seems to have alot going on and i know you said in a previous vid how much you liked it. Also the cooking and alchemy overhaul mod has a lot of things you could cover that would be quite helpful. Just some options, great vid
That's precisely why I don't use it with my setup. As Much as I like the concept of it all, it's just hard to get it down. My alternative is Spell Wheel VR. Just set one of your hands to Favorites and it will be easier to navigate
Have you noticed any issues where items duplicate and drop from a body if you have looted with the backpack off it? For example Kill bandit, backpack loot banding, leave for several days, come back to bandit camp, body is gone but all items are still there including ones you took..
@@SoulBC Good to know its not everyone, Curious what you replaced for immersive looting? The only thing close I can think of is HIGGS and Drop items on death. As far as the bug goes, I have 400+ mods (no list just me fumblin and editing) going but I saw a bug section on the official page with the same thing so thought id ask if you noticed it. Not sure its that's noticeable I mostly worried about performance.
@@SoulBC No, when I was watching the video I had no clue what I was meant to be doing, because you were talking and in the gameplay you were doing the glyph cast and hand sign cast all at the same time.
It’s exactly as they said. The option is available in the VRIK MCM. I believe it’s under Controls and tick the Selfie Mode option. Then left your right Palm into the air, which that is configurable as well. :)
Aaargh this is all so confusing! I have NEVER played, or even seen anyone play Skyrim before. So I thought it would be cool to play it in VR for the first time. Then I fell down the modding-rabbit-hole pretty quick, because I wanted Boneworks-like picking upping thingy instead of having to press A. Now I've been able to install a few mods, but I see people online with much better graphics and cooler UI/huds.. I was thinking about just deleting everything except my Save-games and just try some different mods. Does anyone know a link to a list with the best mods for Skyrim VR? I don't need it to be harder or anything, but more intuitive VR controls and graphics would be nice. Like the magic effects and stuff. I got a pretty buff PC, so it should be able to handle almost anything.
Thanks for continuing to post awesome Skyrim VR modding content!
Glad to be of service! :)
I agree I would be really keen to use this for just the lock picking and backpack, not keen on the spell gestures.
Other mods just do it a bit better

@@SoulBC yeh I literally just want the backpack (very saints and sinners) and the lockpicking.
@@CluelessDadGamer very understandable, Saints and Sinners system is great

Sounds like a plan! I can most certainly cover Frostfall and Campfire and I’ll be delighted too! The same can be said for CACO :)
this helped, thanks!
I love this mod, but I can't make shouts work, and they stay bind to right grip button. This mess up my instant cast...

I still don't know which to download spellwheel vr or MageVr since both seems to need similar keybinds

Alberto? 😂😂
I can cover this yes lol
Yea bro Albetos Spanish cousin

@@mightyzeebs5987 it’s most likely Drop on Death since it drops the items but MageVR thinks the inventory is still there
can you go more in depth with the hand poses (not making another video [unless you want to]) because i cant get it to work
What exactly do you need more in-depth about? the configuration?
@@SoulBC No, when I was watching the video I had no clue what I was meant to be doing, because you were talking and in the gameplay you were doing the glyph cast and hand sign cast all at the same time.
I personally did not use the hand poses as the VRIK gestures are easier to use

@@beardedbagel4231 I do but it is very complex and hard to explain

Within the INI file of MageVR
My good sir. what is the mod installer/ manager that you use???
Currently, MO2

what mod do you us to see a mirror copy of yourself?
