i just threw down a couple G on a hp reverb g2 and PC with ryzen 5600x and zotac overclocked 3060ti with water cooling for this very moment my headset just came in and i am looking for mods so i get the best visual experience possible i run everything at ultra settings with no issues
I also have a deep voice, and yes it is fun to play with the base it comes, but you really have to put more energy in your voice, deeper is not in every case better
What’s the vertical line I see in your videos from in game? It looks like a seam or distortion and sometimes it seems annoying and other times barely noticeable - other videos I’ve seen some have that and others don’t - I just got a VR setup and finished half life Alyx so I’m looking for another game (after boneworks) and everything I’ve read says skyrim VR is unplayable without mods. I’m glad I found this channel.
So, recording SkyrimVR is a pain since the window is just like a small pane. So, with my OBS I have a plugin to allow me to use both my eyes for a recording. Hence the distorted line. It's hard to line-up the distortion to make it less visible. But if I only did my right eye, no one would be able to see what would happen on my left side. So that's why that is there. Just for the sake of recording. As for playing Skyrim VR, I wouldn't say that it's unplayable. Just that it is better with mods, like 10x better. That's why I create Skyrim Mod content to show people that these particular mods work well in VR. Skyrim VR is worth the investment :)

@@SoulBC Steam VR allows has a option to show the video. That video output is what I use on my streams instead of the small window that Skyrim opens. The steam vr media player shows everything that you can see in VR!!! Hopefully this helps
@@PreKDrop0ut As much as this does work wonderfully. It does have a performance hit. It just uses way more resources than the OpenVR Plugin for OBS. I've used it before and my performance tanked. I do have over 300 mods installed. But regardless, the OpenVR allowed me to record with optimal performance. I'm more than willing to try it again tho. :)
An older video maybe, still relevant tho.... You mention and link "Realistic RS Children Overhaul" but that needs to unofficial patch that does not work with Skyrim VR..? How was that possible..?
@@SoulBC REALLY!? Ya dont use Realistic Water Two with it like SkyVRaan recommends? I use them both together normally but i swear my water normally doesnt look that nice, especially the water on each side of the stairs coming down in whiterun's main square.

If i have a fully modded SE and i then buy VR, do I need to redonload my whole mod order again or will it pull from the SE game/mods and I can then just tweak VR loadout with any VR specific patches/mods etc? NGL the thought of re-overhauling skyrim VR is crippling.
I know the feeling, it is indeed a crippling thing to do. Unfortunately you will have to reinstall it all. Also note that there are mods that just won’t work for VR so be sure to be careful installing mods. That’s why I create these Top 10s to ensure people these mods are great for VR playthroughs.

Hey I'm currently using a RTX 3060. I downloaded all these mods but I'm getting a crazy amount of blur and flickering in the trees and foliage. Any idea why?
Blur is from the game itself, you can be rid of this with several options, which I’ve stated in the performance video, but to save you time here: CAS, The Sharper Eye, and VRVision, pick what you like. As for the flickering, you have to adjust the distances which could be edited through the INI files.
rtx 2070 super and Ryzen 7 3800x + Valve Index ..no chance for more than a sharpener..more texture mods and im getting stuttering as hell in vr.. dunno why. i can run a high quality ENB with all that high def texture bullshit in the Skyrim special edition but in VR ? NO fking chance.. need a better pc 😞or tips 🙂
On the mod page it says that cathedral weathers is required for cathedral landscapes. Do you actually need it and if so, how bad does it conflict with onyx weathers
@@SoulBC nevermind fixed it then had bijorn black face that crashed the game and is now back to purple I about redownloaded most of the aio requirements

On Valve index Noble skyrim is little blurry. I preffer Skyrim HD SE... it is much sharper but you need bigger free space.

@@gino5220 I personally felt there was no need! As Onyx does a great job giving depth to the waters and SkyVRaans options are phenomenal alone!
