In one of my scenarios King Pin got a dimension destroying bomb. Which yes is basically what happened in Spiderverse. And yes just like in Spiderverse, I barely saved the dimension.
It'd be super neat to see a game of you playing this with people, since you love it so much. Give a great example of the game feel, more than a raw how-to can
I got Legendary some time ago exactly because of your recommendation and it quickly became one of my most often played games. Unfortunately the problem is, it's kind of hard to get some expansions outside of US and local stores say they're unable to get them even if I'm willing to wait. Hopefully the fact Upper Deck advertises the base set again, meant they're reprinting. I'd love to finally get my hands on X-man expansion, or the Hulk one.
I bought this a few months back and have yet to play it. Watching your quick run through makes me wanna jump back to it. Also if you love deck building try Pathfinder Adventure Card games. I've almost completed all the original boxes. It's my favorite deck building games.
I got this game plus the dark city expansion because of your videos and my friends and I absolutely love it. Play it all the time, thank you so much for your reviews.
You can tell that he, like many legendary players, doesn’t know a bystander escape off the top of his head since it never happens with a small group. We actually have a house rule you play a horror card if it happens as a bigger punishment.
Legendary is a top tier game, have you tried any of the alternate flavors of it? I've had my interest piqued by the Aliens version, but haven't given it a shot.
I personally adore the aliens or predator version. I think it really comes into its own with the flavor of having to reveal cards, the co-op aspects are neat with new mechanics.
The Harry Potter Battle For Hogwartz is a similar deck building game, and it's very good. I prefer Legendary because it's a lot more robust with the different heroes, masterminds, schemes, and expansions, but it's still pretty solid
We've had this game for years and it has the most replayability/staying power on the table. Some games are fun just to play once, but this is a game where we know it'll be fun to play every time.
I just picked this up last month for myself and have been playing the expansions on Table Top Sim! The Legendary games are so fun even if the non Marvel ones get incredibly challenging!
Ordered this for my birthday a few months back (per your recommendation from a different video) and my boyfriend and I both absolutely love it - I've got the dark city expansion on the way 😊
"I've always loved deck building it's my favorite genera of board games pretty much." Man, I wish I had friends like you! I love deck builders but most of the people I used to play with would only ever play Marvel Legendary or Penny Arcade once a month.
Great video! I’d love to see a legendary tier list video. Like, between Marvel Legendary, Legendary Encounters Aliens, Predator, Firefly, etc. Would love to hear your thoughts on the best ones
can i recommend Red Dragon Inn? It's one of my favorite board games that one of my friends bought and one day I hope to get the full game with expansions.
Hey ProZD you like the game The Binding of Isaac, right? There's a kickstarter for the expansion of its board game ("The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls") going on right now, and the game's creator set social goals to unlock new stuff in the game. One of the current goals is to get celebrities to say "The Binding of Isaac" on camera. Do you think you would be down with posting something like that to Twitter? Btw, the board game itself is really fun. I would love to see a video on it someday
I'd really love to know your take on Sentinels of the Multiverse! The card game, its digital version, or the upcoming Definitive Edition if you want to wait. It's also got a tabletop RPG now!
this game looks really cool but does the mat come with it or not also if you like dungeons&dragons there is a 5 minute dungeons game which is fun that you could do a review on :)
I hadn’t really looked into this game at all, but I bought it after seeing this video and I fell hard.. only missing Villains and X-men now..! Hoping for reprints
Great job dude heard Jurassic world domination trailer will come out soon hope you cover one of Jurassic park board games in the future. Also it’s totally fine that your not too into superhero stuff but I do recommend checking some stuff every once awhile like with any form of art it’s up to you to find what calls to you like my sister isn’t into superheroes at all but what she is into is horror stuff so comics or superheroes that cover the supernatural stuff and don’t wear costumes are closer to her than anything else. I kinda want to see the expansion you have for this game because this video was a lot of fun and it’s got me curious about the game and I might get it when it goes on sale.
I've only played the Alien version, but I liked it a lot! Just wondering, do you review expansions? I want to see a proper review of Arkham Horror: The Card Game (which you've briefly mentioned liking), but I especially want to hear your thoughts on the expansions since they're basically 90% of the game. They also are pretty noteworthy for all veing fairly distinct, with The Dunwich Legacy basically being an evolution of the base game but supposedly almost every other expansion is very much its own beast.
Great review of a great game. The process of setting it up and breaking it down does get fairly irksome over time though. Also, as I progress to different life stages I have come to value a game that can be played with less time very highly and this game is not especially quick.
If y'all like deck builders, I _highly_ recommend "Shards Of Infinity". It also has an expansion ("Shadow Of Salvation") that adds co-op scenarios. Should be able to pick both sets up for less than $40.
I never liked the game since it never felt thematic that everyone was buying from the same store of Heroes. I sold the whole collection and switched to Marvel Champions once it came out. One person playing as one hero, much more satisfying.
The only thing I can say it can be slightly anti-climatic if you don't do the final showdown. I don't have ton of friends or something with whom I have played it so I can't give much praise or critique on that aspect however for people who aren't that into boardgames it can be quite complicated or hard to follow or understand.
Would love to see a Legendary expansion tier list!
There’s one already on board game geek better yet, he made an extensive review and recommendations based on what people like
In one of my scenarios King Pin got a dimension destroying bomb. Which yes is basically what happened in Spiderverse. And yes just like in Spiderverse, I barely saved the dimension.
It'd be super neat to see a game of you playing this with people, since you love it so much. Give a great example of the game feel, more than a raw how-to can
Legendary is a fantastic game! Defintly gets better once you get expansions. Overall well worth putting some money into!
Thanks for reviewing this! Legendary is my favorite board game too, I'll probably be playing it forever.
I'd absolutely love to see your storage solution for this and all it's expansions hahaha
I was wondering when they were finally going to send him a copy for review after his “2 player board games” video. He totally sold me on it.
I got Legendary some time ago exactly because of your recommendation and it quickly became one of my most often played games. Unfortunately the problem is, it's kind of hard to get some expansions outside of US and local stores say they're unable to get them even if I'm willing to wait.

Unsleeved?! Living on the edge my man...

+1 on the pathfinder adventure card game , really like that game and it has a lot of similarities to the legendary deckbuilding games.
I got this game plus the dark city expansion because of your videos and my friends and I absolutely love it. Play it all the time, thank you so much for your reviews.

I love legendary!
Legendaryforwards was right all along.

It's a total blast! I love it!
how do you have no name?
Very fun board game.
Just got this game for Christmas because of you, can't wait to try it!
Legendary is my favorite deckbuilder game and it makes me feel like I don't need any more of that game style.
Aliens is a bit more balanced than Marvel’s Legendary.
The Harry Potter Battle For Hogwartz is a similar deck building game, and it's very good. I prefer Legendary because it's a lot more robust with the different heroes, masterminds, schemes, and expansions, but it's still pretty solid

Fun game lots of replay value and lots of expansions. Glad it's reviewed here

Ordered this for my birthday a few months back (per your recommendation from a different video) and my boyfriend and I both absolutely love it - I've got the dark city expansion on the way 😊
Legendary is such a great board game! Great for solo play and even better with friends. So much replayability and variation, it's almost PERFECT
"I've always loved deck building it's my favorite genera of board games pretty much." Man, I wish I had friends like you! I love deck builders but most of the people I used to play with would only ever play Marvel Legendary or Penny Arcade once a month.
I’m in a similar boat, any chance are you in Maryland? Haha. One of my favorites is fellow ship of the ring deck builder.
I just bought this and am getting my boys over to play soon, this just made me even more excited!
Note, you can also recruit Maria Hill cards for 3 recruit stars. Great Review!
It's funny you just uploaded this! I was JUST looking into buying this game!
FINALLY ya got around to this gem!!
This is one of my favorite tabletop games period.
Great video! I’d love to see a legendary tier list video. Like, between Marvel Legendary, Legendary Encounters Aliens, Predator, Firefly, etc. Would love to hear your thoughts on the best ones
I love legendary even the encounters games I just wish I could find the villan virson of thid
can i recommend Red Dragon Inn? It's one of my favorite board games that one of my friends bought and one day I hope to get the full game with expansions.
This is also my favorite board game. I made a lot of custom stuff for it, it was very fun trying to balance everything.
Haven’t played it since Covid lockdown started. I put a lot of heart and money into it.

I'd really love to know your take on Sentinels of the Multiverse! The card game, its digital version, or the upcoming Definitive Edition if you want to wait. It's also got a tabletop RPG now!
yesss, my thoughts exactly! :D
Wow, surprised this hasn't been reviewed before! Agreed that it's awesome!
You gotta try Marvel Champions!
What's the randomizer you use? That sounds awesome to try
it's called Assemble
just played this for the last time last night! loved it!!!
I always love the board game reviews!
it has the best interactive feedback.
Ah so this is what you used for your infinity war video.
this game looks really cool but does the mat come with it or not
also if you like dungeons&dragons there is a 5 minute dungeons game which is fun that you could do a review on :)
the board comes with the game
cool! im gonna have to get it soon
Are you going to review “Duel Masters: Battle of the Creatures” soon???
I hadn’t really looked into this game at all, but I bought it after seeing this video and I fell hard.. only missing Villains and X-men now..! Hoping for reprints

Where did you find the legendary villains expansion?? ive been trying to find that for my gf for months this game is her obsession
Hey now with episode 15 and this ep 140, can you make a showoff DC vs Marvel deck building games?
I see a trading card of Jordan Peterson in the thumbnail. I click

I wish i could play board games with prozd
I love this game I have 100% win rate even though it's a cooperative game, but you count the points gotten from villains at the end
Great review of a great game. The process of setting it up and breaking it down does get fairly irksome over time though. Also, as I progress to different life stages I have come to value a game that can be played with less time very highly and this game is not especially quick.
I love legendary (minus the set up). I loved this video, nice music.
Been looking forward to this one!
All right A Marvel board card game !!!!! That’s absolutely amazing PROZD
What's your favorite hero combo? Mine's Angel and Cyclops.
Could you make a Colt Express review? LEGENDARY kinda reminds me of it. I think it even got Game of the year 2017
Is that red skull before axis after axis?
What a legendary game this is.
Can you rate all the expansions? There's so many of them now I don't know which to get having not bought any in like 4 years.
What would be a good board game on the cheaper end of things (sub $40) that has expansions that me and my girlfriend could play?
If y'all like deck builders, I _highly_ recommend "Shards Of Infinity". It also has an expansion ("Shadow Of Salvation") that adds co-op scenarios. Should be able to pick both sets up for less than $40.
@@thecrashtestgenius1 I'm also fine with it being like 40$ for a game, and then extra for the add-ons down the road as well

Legendary is my favorite
Hey Sungwon, just curious do you normally play this full co-op or with the normal competitive rules?
make a video on the platinum blue eyes!!!
Am I the only one that when I first saw this I noticed that they are the cards from the infinity war vid
He would love Gloomhaven / Jaws of the Lion.
Gotta do Alien: Legendary my man
I never liked the game since it never felt thematic that everyone was buying from the same store of Heroes. I sold the whole collection and switched to Marvel Champions once it came out. One person playing as one hero, much more satisfying.
Seeing this many unsleeved cards hurts me as MtG player.

everyone speaks high of the Legendary series, I just wish they had different themes, marvel and buffy and james bond sadly are not my thing :/
I wasn't a fan of alien predator or firefly, or big trouble in little china. But those are all legendary themed sets as well.
I love your content. Nothing else but positively. I have anything to everything yonder over under. Just kidding
This reminds me of dc deck building in a way!
Oh it’s way better I assure you
Such a fun game
Weird, I just bought this yesterday
Upper deck you say?
Does it come in other styles? Really not a fan of comic book stuff and all
There's an Alien version, a Predator version, and a Firefly version, iirc
ProZD can you review stupid deaths its my favorite game
100% my favorite game.
No sleeves?!
I love this game!
