This song and music video are the result of 6 months of work. I wanted to push the boundaries of what I could do musically, but also in terms of video production, doing everything myself. I hope you will enjoy it!
Performed on a Strandberg Boden Original NX8 8 string guitar (tuning DBEADGBE), and Ibanez BTB806MS 6 string bass.
Video shot on a Panasonic Lumix S5 camera with a Lumix S 35mm f/1.8 lens. Bridge close-ups shot with a Sony RX100 V.

Thank you! I try to take inspiration from bands I like while also doing my own thing, I can sometimes drift pretty far but I roll with it :) My bass tone was heavily inspired by the bassist Nevrness (aka Bitoku), I encourage you to check out his music too!

Well done, I know how hard you have been working on the edit. Vfx are subtle and on point. And oh my those camera angles are insane, I want to see the making of. I like that though the song is wild we get a more chill interlude and then clicking back to intensity. I know you worked hard and it shows.

Awesome. I can hear influences from all my favourite prog rock bands, and yet this sounds original and fresh.

@sloenmusic In this piece specifically I hear some progressions of the '00s Dream Theater, buildups from Muse, and sound choices from PFM (an Italian prog band). There's also a hint of King Crimson, in some melodic sequences.
There is probably a lot more to unpack, but I'm not an expert. :) In any case this piece sounds original and personal, I like it a lot.
