Just incredible! The utilization of NeRF and ComfyUI was super cool. I hope more artists start using these techniques. And it matches the overall theme of the song so well too! Fantastic work!
Thank you! These technologies are pretty versatile, I think they can fit a lot of different themes, and if I can afford it time-wise, I'd love to explore them further in future videos.
This is so insane. I am very very impressed. Amazing dedication, creativity and skill on display here. Just fantastic work. Thanks for sharing and explaining! Definitely inspiring, but also highlights the need for a powerful computer haha. I cant even run resolve on mine!
Thanks! And you're right, most of this stuff does require a pretty beefy computer at the moment, which understandably isn't accessible to everyone. As these new technologies evolve, they also become better optimized, and entry level computers more capable, so that stuff will only become more widely accessible in the future :)
wow!!! the only technique that I noticed in the original video was the AI parts, the NERF technique is super sick and i didnt even know how you did it! the vid is super sick, it's cool to see all the work you put in. definitely wanna see how you apply some of this in the future :D
Thanks mate! When I heard about the NERF stuff I just knew I had to use it. Now I might just make a NERF capture every time in future videos, it takes 2-3mn and opens up infinite possibilities during editing.
@@sloenmusic wow yeah it'd be great to see. i've always wanted to do a similar type of thing with the robot-arm-style shots, it's great to learn about it! i might use it in a couple of my band's videos :))
@@3eby4b Definitely! My goal with this BtS video was to encourage fellow DIY musicians to explore new stuff in their videos! Get in touch and let me know how it works out, I'll be happy to watch your video!
The worse the original quality is, the more difficult it will be to get a decent result when upscaling, the picture will look increasingly fake. It worked well here because the base images were very clean (digital artwork style, compared to old camera footage with noise, blur, etc). You can upscale with free AI tools like Stable Diffusion (plenty of tutorials on RUclips), or use paid software like Topaz AI.
This is so awesome to see! You mentioned at the beginning you didnt have a team or anyone else with you, so I am reslly curious how you got those moving shots all by yourself? Did you have to take a lot of solid shots almost like stop motion and put them all together? I had originally assumed you must've shot it using a drone camera or something
Thanks! I didn't have a team but I did have one person shoot the footage, Serena, without whom my videos wouldn't be possible :) What I meant was that I did the planning and post production myself, and that we didn't have additional people to help with lights, reflectors, etc. If you're referring to the shots with the camera flying around, those are done with the NERF tech I talk about further in the video.

This is so inspiring and motivating! Great Work!!! 💪🏼
Thank you! There's so much we can do now with very small budgets relative to big professional productions 🤘
Thanks for all these informations. It is great to see how you made this masterpiece!
I hope it'll be useful for fellow videomakers 😊

What AI do you use to upscale video? Wonder if it could work for old videos from lofi cameras. Loved the nerf crazy angles

@sloenmusic Ooooh! I think I got distracted by someone right at that section so I missed it 🤦♀️ that is very cool! I definitely wanna try that
@@brennamenz NERF is pretty cool, you can even do it with your phone, and if you have an iPhone there's even an app :)
You have to stop filming your MVs when it's cold 🥹😂 But you did an amazing job with the MV
Haha I'd love to! I waited several weeks to have an opportunity to film in decent conditions, and even then it ended up raining and being cold 😄
