can anyone tell me how long it will take to ship this board to the us?
I bought the board two months ago for commuting to work (3 miles away) and couldn’t be more pleased it is amazing no problems and goes like 15 miles per charge. My top speed typically ranges from 21-24mph and I have ridden through various puddles without any issues.
What is your weight?
Forgot to mention the Ownboard components are encased in metal enclosures. Unfortunately, my C1S isn't able to hit 25mph anymore and I haven't even been 100 miles. Going to contact Ownboard about that! But it's definitely the best budget board in my opinion.

@@moonar5820 yep. The update is that the board snapped in the middle of a ride and threw me off and I broke my wrist. Apparently the 265 lb rating isn't quite accurate as a 225lb person can't ride it safely. I have sent the board back and they said they were going to send a W1S for free but they haven't yet. The board was delivered to them on the 6th and they said they still haven't sent the new board. I plan on making a video on everything in the future. It has been not great and if they weren't all the way in China, I would probably be more aggressive with seeking restoration.

What was your top speed that you got when riding?
Spray some wd-40 on paper towel and that sticker glue will wipe right off. Can’t wait to get my board!
ownboard and wowgo 2s look almost identical. Is there any difference?
The differense about the ownboard is that the ownboard OWNS
When in the rain just ride it front wheel drive for more control. Just be careful braking, but if the board should start to spin, just make it a slide and brake that way.
I own one and i modded it to have 6 wheels. It is a beast

I subbed..but looking at your video... comparing my ownboard w1a with over 500 miles... It looked faked. You never rode it.... I can tell. after about 5 miles of riding those stickers on the wheels are gone. not to mention the condition of the hub motors.... There is not a scratch on them!!! My Ownboard is USED!!! no stickers, ruff metal on the hub wheels... I ride my ownboard. Even if i dont advertise it to the internet.
How long did it take for it to arrive? Ordered mine saturday and I still've got no Tracking???

@@jimzplace hey man how is your board now? I ordered the C1s with the replaceable wheel on motor, how much reduction in battery life do you see after 500 mile of total use? What is your average mile on a charge I got the Samsung 6.0 version it said it should give me 20-22.5 km
@@moonar5820 Hey! Board is still running, Tho its 8c/45f in ny. its cold!! Reduction in battery is hard to judge, because of the weather change. I have the lowest battery. 4.4. Today freezing i did 6 miles with still 2 battery lights left! Now i need to look into how to safely put my board away for the winter.... or maybe rent it out? lol
Nice man, I live in a tropical weather, so i mostly have to worry about heat and humidity...and rain.
Im hoping it holds the advertised 20-22.5 km, since I weigh lesser than their test subjects.
Does it handle inclines well? like does the speed drop too much?

How’s the ride on the C1S ? Trying to decide to get that or the W1S. How many miles u get per charge with the Samsung 6.0 ?
@@jerredbloom1061 OwnBoard C1s is rock solid and super fun. Looks very cool. The C1S has a smaller deck but it's okay for me. It is very reliable and solid.
I don't know about range in miles. For me, it's about 1.2 hours till it hits 25 per cent then voltage sag sinks in. Going up hills no problem but you will lose a lot of battery so you must think of conserving your battery. I go out for 1.2 hours and charge for 1.5 hours then go out for another 1.2 hours. You might want to look for a removable battery option for your next board. That's why I might suggest the Meepo NLS since it has the that option. Ask yourself if you are okay with 1.2 hours of riding, or you want to continue going. I would want an extremely long range board for at least 3 hours. Also Aeboarder has a 50 km range board with the Sanyo option but it's 3lbs heavier and has no handle. Most all use the same components and go the same speed. Belt drives are prone to breaking and being stranded far away would not be fun at all. Top speed in a board is important but for how long.. Range anxiety is an awful thing.:(

Hi there! This is very important so please hear me out. I ordered sanyo 20700 battery and 2 4.2V chargers from their site. I thought it was a bit weird when I never got an email for proof of purchase or any type of order number. Then I got the battery and realized it didn't turn on unless it was plugged to the charger, I thought it was a switch problem, but now that I ordered a new one I realized that there is a problem with the battery (BMS issue). One of the chargers broke after 2 uses. So I emailed them to see if I can send it back to get a new one. They have yet to respond and its been over a month. Please warn DIY skateboarders about this, ownboard is a very shady buisiness. If you look on their website none of their products have a review below 4 or 5 stars. This is because they delete any type of negative review or comment. You can try it out yourself. Please let the people know. I don't want people to experience what I did. What I bought costed over 400 dollars thus why I am not too pleased. Anyways good luck all!
