Great video! I have my 2S now for about 3 weeks and I love it! I was a complete newbe to longboarding in general, so I learned it with the Wowgo 2s, and I like it even more than I expected. The 6,4 Ah battery gets me (73 kg) about 17 km with some juice left (I didn't drive until stop, but the remote was vibrating a few times already). Using it to and from university, about 6 km per trip. The remote is very intuitive and ergonomic. Also no disconnects or other troubles so far. I did about 200 km so far I guess. What I also like is that when the remote is off and the board is on, the board always brakes when you move it. Coasting is also pretty nice indeed and I also like that it makes low noise. I have noticed no downsides so far. In terms of shipping, I ordered on 16.04, shipped 19.04. and got it delivered on 27.04. which was a pleasent surprise to me (I live in EU - germany). I expected shipping to take 2-3 weeks. I am already thinking about buying the big 8.5 Ah Sanyo battery since I have more fun than expected and could do some extended rides :)
Thanks for the review. I got mine yesterday and haven't stopped riding it. The roads we have here can be pretty bad but when you hit a nice road it's so much fun.

Board has not been shipped out. 5 days in i did recive their typical social media (hey buddy no worry) responce and they did write that i will recive my tracking number soon.. XP so not sure if i should be worried. Maybe they just cant keep up. They are selling like a board every few minutes if you look at those popups they have in their web page
Yeah I’ve been emailing Jason, and I’ve received the same reply. I was told mine will be shipped out “next Monday or Tuesday”. Really hoping that he means this coming Monday or Tuesday. Not that big of deal, I know it’s coming and Jason has been good about replying to all of my annoying emails. But I was really hoping to receive my board by the 21st before I go on vacation. Either way, I guess that’s the deal when you order from the other side of the world. And from the reviews I’ve seen, it’ll be worth it. 👍🏻
lmao i planned to receive mine on my vacation also xP and well "i just love how my plans NEVER come together". Also i was not given any dates or promises only "soon", some people in facebook they haven't received the board after over 2 months waiting also that the wowgoboard company does not refund.. however wowgo claimed as response that they did refund. but yeah so far i do not regret the purchase and i am looking forward to it !! too
VirtuallyChris. Thanks for the reply, I'm hoping that the new 96mm wheels for the Backfire will improve the acceleration and braking curves as well as the vibration issues. Early reports suggest that this is the case. I only wish Backfire had released these wheels from the very outset. I do think the Wowgo looks pretty good though.
Why did you review the worst battery they offer? They have two other options in the LG and the Sanyo. I haven't seen anyone review the LG which looks to me like the best option only being $50 more than the old Samsung batteries and offering better range and performance.

However they replied to me regarding the Samsung 6 Ah which is a bit bigger than the one they have on the Wowgo 2S. Here it is: Hi, thanks so much for your support compare to LG6.4 and Samsung6.0 battery, Samsung6.0 is powerful and less battery sag, but with less reange. they could have over 500 times recharge Regards, ---------------------------- I'm now indecisive towards the Wowgo 2S with the Samsung batter and the Ownboard with the slightly bigger Samsung battery. I think in the end I'll probably go with the Wowgo2S because of the better bearings and the good reviews. I'll discard the LG batteries because there must be a reason if they don't send those to the reviewers even when the cost for them is almost the same. It could be a big selling point for them but they don't do that. On the other hand with a bigger capacity battery voltage sag should kick in a bit later because it should take more time to reach 50% battery. Another advantage of the bigger battery is that, althought they all have the same maximum amount of cycles before they start degrading, you will take a longer time and miledge to reache those 500 cycles, making the battery more durable. The Wowgo2s is the cheapest of them all at 415$ or 355€ with the coupon and here in Europe it's even officially not allowed to ride electric skateboards so probably for me it's better to go with the cheapest solution in case they take it away from me. In my experience you have to discard the fact if they speak good english or not with the Chinese brands because it's often not indicative of the quality of the product. Hope this helps make up your mind. It's a pity that only now good comparative reviews are starting
2 days of testing.. my wowgo with LG battery. gets ( 11.9 KM / 7.3 Miles ) thats in Fast speed mode and no hills very light inclines or what ever you call em. Disappinted ? yes!
Also the Rubber ring seal around the power button on the board.. is pretty much just hanging out.. and any moisture would get in through there, and the rubber plug also on the ESC cover case was pretty much loose had to re glue it, My front truck was crooked and both trucks where over tightened so board only wanted to turn to the left (easy fix tho i know)but still... , 2 screws on motor hubs where completely loose, and front wheels/bearings where tightened so much that the wheels did NOT want to spin almost at all.. range was shockingly disappointing
I'm same height and 235. I bought the upgraded battery. The Sanyo. I get around 10 miles. You would get 8. Weight makes a huge impact. However top speed not impacted much. I hit 22-23 regularly

I like it more due to the speed controller / remote. The deck is slightly better on the Backfire for me, but for everything else I prefer the 2S.
