When a Former Addict Discovers Her Destiny- Erin Weisbrodt

Today, Charis Bible College Graduate Erin Weisbrodt, encourages and empowers others by hosting our Charis Daily Live Bible Studies as well as mentoring through her own ministry, New You Ministries. A calling that not too long ago seemed like a pipe dream as she battled a severe drug addiction void of any hope for a future. Until she discovered the free teachings of Andrew Wommack and found the missing piece that would fill the hole in her heart. This is the story of how the revelations taught in Andrew’s book, Spirit, Soul and Body, equipped a former drug addict from Indiana to discover a freedom far stronger than any 12-step program; to live a life far from the guilt of her past. This is the Grace Encounter of Erin Weisbrodt.
Following several hard and emotional events, at 15 years old, Erin turned to the world of drugs to find an escape and fill the emptiness from within. This search for fulfillment would evolve into a seven yearlong drug addiction and would require intervention from her family.
After seven years of a downward spiral Erin’s path to sobriety led her to finish the 30-day program at the inpatient clinic. Replacing hard drugs and alcohol with counseling sessions and NA meetings, Erin did everything in her power to get set free. However, these external measures left Erin feeling trapped by the words she recited at each gathering.
While searching for truth, Erin found Andrew Wommack’s Daily Show. Encouraged by his revelations in teachings such as Spirit, Soul, and Body, Erin had hope for the first time, and decided to attend Charis Bible College. While sitting under teachers like Barry Bennett Carrie Pickett, the revelation of God's unconditional love and grace became her own and she found herself free from a lifetime of guilt and condemnation.

Awesome Erin! You were also a good host on Charis Daily Live Bible Studies. I truly miss the Daily Live Bible Studies which unfortunately had to be reduced to once a week! A bad decision. So many were benefitting from this daily program.
