    / @stories2tell_
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PART 3 / 3Is the insightful story of my family's unending ordeal caused by the European Schengen Tourist Visa granted to us in India by the Embassy of Slovakia.
We were denied to make transit from Arrival to Departure of Dubai Terminal 2, citing "Wizz Air is among the few airlines that do not allow any Transit passengers & transit baggage"
Once at the boarding gate somehow, a new, unexpected shocker slammed us. We were again denied boarding by Wizz Air - second time within 12 hours- citing "Schengen Visa is issued by Slovakia. So you must land in Slovakia only. You can not board the Dubai - Budapest (Hungary) flight"
Then we thought of changing our holiday travel plan entirely. "Which countries allow Indian Passport holders to come in, without a pre-Visa?"
Serbia is a neighboring country to Hungary - just like Croatia, Austria & Slovakia are. Why not go to Belgrade (capital of Serbia) & then attempt entering Hungary via the land border (bus / train)?
Praying for baggage arrival from Dubai to Belgrade48+ hours since we left India
After 48+ hours ordeal - both bags arrive in Belgrade from Dubai
LESSON # 1 If you're transiting from another country on an airline with different PNR- make sure that your 2nd flight allows inter-terminal baggage transfer!
Wizz Air never informed that it does not allow transit passengers / transit baggage transfer
LESSON # 2 Take PRIOR 24 / 48 hour transit e-Visa of the country IF you're changing FLIGHTS OF DIFFERENT PNR
So that you can collect your baggage from the belt & check in for the 2nd flight e.g. Wizz Air, Air India Express operate from Dubai, but don't allow transit baggage & passenger transfer. Neither did Wizz Air informed us ever
No trains between Belgrade to Budapest!
Can we get a Bus from Belgrade to Budapest?
On the bus from Belgrade (Serbia) to Budapest (Hungary)
Novi Sad is Serbia's 2nd largest city
    DANUBE (in Serbia)
Europe's longest river- coming from Germany, Austria & Hungary Novi Sad in Serbia is mid-way bus station between Belgrade & Budapest
Serbian side of the Serbia-Hungary border
(also the Non EU - EU Schengen border) 20:45 hrs
100 kms (1 hour) away from Budapest 1 hour ago, Hungarian (EU)
Passport Control on Serbia-Hungary Border let us pass with just a fingerprint & passport scan, stamping - WITHOUT ANY ISSUES!
Why Wizz Air did not let us board in Dubai for Hungary, citing Schengen Visa issued by Slovakia (instead of Hungary)?
Of what use is the EU's Schengen Visa then if entry can only be from the country that issued it?
Wizz Air must pay for messing up our holiday & wasting our money due to this replanning from Serbia
We aim to reach Budapest tonight & then take the earliest available bus to Prague - as in our original itinerary
    22:15 hrs
    Budapest (Népliget Bus Station)
Next bus to Prague at 22:50
RegioJet bus service, Platform no. 3
How to book its ticket right now?
    God's grace.. miracle happened!
Missed the 22:50 RegioJet bus to Prague.. could not book ticket in time
    WiFi was not available anywhere!
Managed to book ticket on this last bus tonight to Prague- 23:30 FlixBus
    Lesson in Resourcefulness!
By using the Free WiFi of this very bus, standing next to it for WiFi network, booked online ticket for this bus itself
Next bus is at 16:30 - saved 5 hours with this hack!!
After 13 hour total journey (6 hrs- Belgrade to Budapest, 6 hrs- Budapest to Prague)
    Finally, we're in PRAGUE!!
Emailed to hotel (last night) that we are arriving (late by 3 days!) to utilize our money paid- which the hotel had refused to refund when we emailed from Dubai!
Hotel had refused refund on mail/ Booking.com
But now that we are here, they are letting us utilize the days- in spite of checking in 3 days later!

Hungary border officials allow you entry because you were travelling on bus and from serbia first hungary comes and then Slovakia so it make sense that you first enter hungary and then Slovakia from airport you can land anywhere thats why they didn't allow you.
Secondly if you are denied an entry airlines face huge fines to bring that passenger and at the airport there is no way you can return from that country without taking the flight if you say I dont have money then the airline brought you have to make your return arrangements and in bus there is no fine they can deny you and bus will leave without you and say make arrangements your self and return to serbia

Depending on which schengen member state issued the visa the first point on entry should be that country and after that you can travel with in schengen member state. That’s why when filling the schengen application form it’s asked you which will be your first point of entry in the member state. Do your research before travelling. It’s norm for border control officials to deny/ask you why is your first point of entry is not from the member state issued you visa apart from other point of entry.

Thank you for watching the content on this channel & commenting!
What you mention wasn't the case in 2019- we had 'Multi Entry' Schengen Visa issued by France, while we entered/ landed from India right into Netherlands.
Post Covid, there are these new absurd/ ad hoc rules at the airports.
While applying Schengen Visa from Slovakia this year, we clearly stated that Hungary will be our port of entry (as flights to Slovakia are very rare & expensive). Why then, did Slovakia issue the visa at all?

    • @adivu
      @adivu Год назад +2

It’s always skeptical as they can ask you why not your first point of entry is not the member state issued visa. I had similar situation back in 2015 as I got Netherlands schengen visa but my first point of entry was Italy and they hold me for same after few phone back to Netherlands was ok and they allowed me. Some member state may ask may not it’s depends on their jurisdiction.
As you mentioned in your application your point of entry but visa was issued Slovak member state, but the relevant authorities were not aware of it so you had the situation. It’s bit different while travelling through land borders as they are much relax than airport.

thanks for helpful video my friend, I have one curiosity, excuse me for I am a "filthy poor" non-EU person... so you say entering by road is easier because they stamp your passport without questions? I intend on overstay 90-days because I could not really find a way to do it, it's just too many "rules" they make it impossible... can I travel by road without worries after these 90 days? will someone check? do they check every single bus? thanks in advance

this entire visa thing makes me so sad... it's been YEARS that I've been delaying my adventure because of nonsensical fears, meanwhile the rules keep changing and getting worse... you can clearly see that all this is a targeted attempt at keeping "the filthy poor" out of their territory

    • @diegofrancisco425
      @diegofrancisco425 Год назад

and another question... once I'm inside the territory and I simply stay there, will I be able to find other people that stayed too? without documents... will I be able to meet others and perhaps share accomodation, talk about jobs etc... my plan is to start a small food business, it's like 3-in-1 what I plan to do, but all sales in cash, direct sales, no papers

    • @Stories2Tell_
      @Stories2Tell_  4 месяца назад +1

The on-paper itinerary (with booking proofs) had Slovakia only as the country where max days of the trip were to be spent. That's why & how the Schengen visa grant was made possible from Slovakia in the 1st place (at a time when no other country's Schengen visa appointment was open).
BUT the Dubai airport folks didn't acknowledge any of it. They only wanted visa to be granted from the country of 1st landing I.e. Hungary.
THIS wouldn't have happened if there was no PNR break in Dubai & the Delhi - Middle East - Budapest (Hungary) flight would've been on the same PNR!

It'll be my first time travelling to Schengen. While looking for such hidden issues to ensure my smooth immigration, I've landed on your channel. Honestly speaking, your experience has given me a scare. I have got a single-entry Schengen visa from Austria, even though I had opted for a multi-entry business Visa. Anyway, I have a doubt. My flight booking is through Lufthansa. Chennai->Mumbai-> Munich->Vienna, all under the same PNR.
Chennai -> Mumbai flight will be operated by Lufthansa's partner airline, Vistara, while the Munich->Austria will be through another partner, Austrian Airlines. All the flight numbers are as if it's Lufthansa's, starting with LH and having the same PNR. But since the first landing will be in Munich, I suppose immigration will happen in Munich itself. So, will my first point of entry be Germany, then? Will I face any problem boarding the Austrian Airline flight or, for that matter, refused to board the Lufthansa flight to Munich from Mumbai itself?

      1. Kaafi advance mein Visa apply kijiye - so that you get Schengen from same country in which you will be landing
      2. Beech mein Airlines mat change kijiye - ek hi PNR no. pe jaane ka flight karaiye (even if flight mein beech mein ek hopping ho, but single PNR pe jaane ka flight ho)
      3. Visa agar Multi-entry mil jae, toh aur bhi accha
