Don't know what you're worrying about, bean plants are supposed to be self pollinating, all they need is a breeze. Maybe there's something else wrong? Grew 10 kilos of peas with no pollinators either. Relax, enjoy the day! Cheers from a South Australian Spring! 👍👍
R'reet Tony, don't be too hard on yerself mate, It's been a strange growing season this year to say the least, I grew borlotti beans this year & the harvest has been way below par. I've got some of those giant butter beans to grow next year & like you, I'll be starting them off early in't greenhouse.
Have considered fleecing the entire Brassica cage for winter as it would extend the growing season or even tarp it as it would be ideal For early potatoes in buckets.
It's been a strange growing season but I've had a bumper cropof beans but most other crops have failed or just poor to average. I have some beans in 50 litre tubs thaI start a little earlier in the tunnel and move outside mid june to let the beas get easy access to But there were very few beans about in June and July and the numbers were lower than usual and I believe it's down to the cloud seeding and the stuff that's being pumped into our skies.
Oireet mukka me car mot run out and I didn’t know so it’s booked in Wednesday I’m at work till then but if you get a chance to bag last of them stones I’ll pick them up Thursday in trailer , if you get chance like I know yer a busy man lad 👍

My blue lake beans were disappointing this year too. Lets just blame the weather and hope for the best next season.

Slightly off topic but pertaining to your last comments. Milk thistle is fantastic
Milk Thistle is one of the strongest anti toxin you can consume and clean out carcogens from the body.
