Shoot local and tripod free with nature photography

If you had to shoot only local and go tripod free for all your images, could you succeed in making portfolio worthy work? Nature photography doesn't have to be restricted to far off exotic locations, or include every bit of kit under the sun. In this video I venture out with minimal gear and come away with three respectable new images and all from my local area.
