im having troubles finding the files for the iso to work. i can download a iso off windows offical website but when i try to run it i get a message saying that i am missing boot up stuff and other things. do you have any links or recomendations of where i can obtain the files?
Worked just like you said BUT...... When i add the iso file to Basilisk II and run it I get a message saying the disk is unreadable. I am trying to open old files created in Microsoft Works V2 thru an emulator (Basilisk II). Were am I going wrong?
Great !!
Thanks a lot
Great tutorial, man. Thanks for uploading. The link for the command doesn't seem to be right anymore, though. I had to pause the video and manually type the command you had in the Terminal, which is okay for me, but some people might be uncomfortable with that.
Hello @TechLunar
Thank you for this great tutorial!! - I want to do this to install Mac OS High Sierra on my 2017 iMac - running Ventura - in a VMWare virtual environment.
I have the download that I copied to a Thumb Drive from another Mac running OS High Sierra.
Some people say all that is needed is the "InstallESD" File, which I have copied to my Mac Desktop. I also have the "Install Mac OS High Sierra" file that I copied from my Thumb Drive, on my Desktop.
Do I need to save the complete "Install Mac OS High Sierra" file to an ISO --- or -- convert the "InstallESD" file to an ISO in order to attempt to mount it
Thank you for your video!!
idk what im doing wrong but the commands in terminal dont work for me....
Thank you
hdiutil errors out with bus error for me... annoying.
Edit: switching to bash instead of zsh has better error messages. seems my image cannot be attached so it can't convert to iso
You're a great person
how did you get the stuff in the file?
Do you know if the ISO would be bootable if I burned it to a DVD?
Why does the Mac create image files with the .CDR extension and sometimes .dmg extension? What determines that and what are the differences?
It's not letting me point it toward desktop...no matter how many times I put in the commands......
does this work for xemu ??
thanks done
I have an iso file that I want to open on Mac. Does anyone know how I can do this?
