I’m 46, nine years away from retirement. I’ve simplified my life 10 years ago. Life is simple, stress free and I have no financial worries. I plan on keeping on this path as I eventually retire. We all make choices and we all learn from past mistakes. Nobody is perfect but life can be easy if you plan and navigate with all the free knowledge that’s out there. Take advantage of platforms like You Tube and learn new ideas and ways of life.

I retired last year at age 62. I felt the need to reduce stuff in the house because I don’t need all this stuff. I also don’t want my children to have to deal with it. So every year I plan to get rid of things. I also felt retirement is similar to being a teenager again except the everyday chores need to get done. I am still in transition in taking time to smell the roses. Thanks for sharing your story and thoughts. Peace out from San Antonio, Texas.

I'm at least 5 yrs from retirement, but once a month I do a quick sweep of the house to look for items to donate or toss. I ask myself "Would I be willing to pay to move this?" If the answer is no, out it's gonna go! We've greatly reduced what we have, and what we keep needs to be functional in our lives now. Even our kids are starting to practice this, and the simplified house makes daily upkeep a breeze.
Love your content. Thank you for bringing us on your journey!

Im 48 been working in construction has a builder for the last 10 years. What a massive physical experience this has been. Long 10 hour days 5 days a weeks takes its toll on the body. Definitely realizing the body can't take another 10 years of such heavy strain. I see many builders simply wore out. Time is so precious.

I have lived by the motto of "everything in moderation" it sounds kinda average but it really has rewarding for me. I retired about 10 months ago at 52 years old but it was due to health reasons (injuries from my time in the Army) and the hardest part was finding things to keep busy. I got a dog about 2 months ago so she has me out walking nearly everyday for a mile or 2 and it's been great. It help keep me busy and get some additional exercise.
    Have a great day!

when I retire - hopefully in three years or so - I'm going through my clothes and throwing out ALL clothes that remind me of corporate. No dress slacks. No button shirts with collars, tossing all dress shoes even. As a hobbyist, not throwing anything else out. A man doesn't just throw his tools out at retirement. Thats what I bought them for - to learn now, so I can enjoy during retirement! (photography, sewing, woodworking)

It's great to see you have the realization of many aspects of life on video. Self reflection is so important, these videos make me think back to 20-30 years ago. I had all these thoughts back then in my 20's and executed on them back then. All i can say to young people watching these videos is let it all sink in. I escaped the matrix at 45 and live every day in peace in happiness.

@@retireeisme1020 Money is one aspect for retirement, but i think the most important thing is figure out what makes you happy and work towards that end. Most people would figure out that happiness actually isn't that expensive. My working career while young was full throttle, I worked my way to a C level executive and then owned my own business. I can tell you the stress almost killed me, money just isn't worth it in the end.

I am 55 in February, and a teacher. Hoping to retire after this year between my pension, Roth IRA that I can access at 59 1/2, penalty-free, and my wife's cash flow before Social Security at 62. My wife wants me to retire...I want to retire... it's just wrapping my mind around the idea that I really could. I am so jealous of you, watching your videos...lol... All good points. I was a teenager happy to play pong once I came in from playing neighborhood baseball, basketball and football. When I’d come in it was time to get a bath and go to bed. We played outside and rode our bikes it was a simple life.we are the ones who started a generation of kids who needed lots of things to entertain them. Things just change so quickly. Retirement is awesome, it’s like being that (old) teenage kids with the freedom and income to have all the month;y bills paid and not needing a darn thing more. I had to clean out my parents house after they both passed away and it took us 2 months to go thru everything and we left a lot behind to just be trashed. I never want a cluttered house like that for my kids to have to sort thru. I can relate so much to your story here. God bless

Bicycle riding to fun places (to the local library to read some travel magazines, then over to the mall to do a bit of window shopping). I did that at 16 for fun, and I'm now doing it at 60 to have some fun. For more fun I simply plop my folding bike into the trunk and go to some far-off city so I can go bike riding on some of the trails they have there, and drop in a local restaurant for lunch before heading back home. This is a cheap way to get to see the world and get some good exercise too.

When working there is never enough time for better things in life. Consumerism doesn't satisfy for long. What is most satisfying is spending time with the Lord, reading the Bible and in church. The best things in life are free; the air, sunshine. Enjoy the small things.

Thank you for your videos mate.. . Crypto education is what the world needs the most right now. I don’t think that buy and hold is a valid investment strategy anymore. Not too diluted and to a degree, follows Evelyn’s trading ideas and signal tips for your portfolio growth and aggressiveness. She is a woman who has not only taught me what the cryptocurrency trading world looks like but a secret to uplift my finance. Buying crypto and waiting for the price to shoot up is not the best way to invest in the market but buying and trading is. Evelyn Infurna’s trade signaIs does the heavy lifting, generating competitive returns for crypto traders and investors in the form of money and peace of mind. Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm!
