  • Todd Schorr (born 1954) began his career as a professional illustrator in New York City, creating album covers, movie posters, and magazine covers for clients like AC/DC, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, and Time.
In the mid-eighties, he took a break from illustration to focus on fine art and has since earned broad recognition as a master painter. The style and influences of his complex narrative painting are attributed to a multitude of sources, ranging from Northern Renaissance to 18th- and 19th-century Romantic painters, combined with contemporary imagery and an illustrative style.

I saw a show from Todd in Hollywood, FL. I immediately fell in love with his work. The show I’m speaking of was in the late 90s. His work is forever with me.

Amazing artist full of ideas with precise immense details, pop culture, surrealism, childhood memories, SCFI and fantastic realism that will make your head spin with awe. Thank you for this amazing tour 😊. Hope to see his work one day, I also love the low brow artist Robert Williams. He’s for sure my favorite.

This is a real treat, fantastic. What a reminder of the fragility of humanity Insofar as Covid is concerned, while at the same time a beautiful representation of how strong people can be. Todd Schorr is a genius. Why is there not a million views? Well done!

Fantastic walk-thru Todd's works and influences. I've been looking forward to seeing this in person for a long time. How unfortunate it will be if the public isn't able to see it due to Covid. Hopefully you open for the last week, or it gets extended, or you bring such a special exhibit back for us. But thank you for the tour - these enormous and detailed pieces must be so impressive in person!
