I personally own the jbl extreme 3 and the party box 310. The extreme is balanced overall with heavy bass and is waterproof and the 310 is super powerful and is also bass heavy yet balanced. Both speakers if updated in the jbl app can be adjusted in the eq settings to increase bass even more. Personally I think the 310 has too much bass when the low end is maxed out in the eq but if you want serious bass that will upset neighbors get the 310. I'd also like to stress that the bass boost button on the 310 doesn't change the power level of bass it changes what is emphasized in the low end. The first setting is a deeper bass setting that delivers more bass in my opinion overall an the 2nd setting increases impact or punch. However most of the bass is lost in this setting and it really only emphasizes quick impacts like drums.
not a complete list without including the best portable speaker on the market and still is 'The New Soundboks' there is another that has even higher bass but can only last 20 minutes on full volume and doesnt include charging batteries. i think for shoulder strap speakers with bass the jbl extreme is the best option.
