- Unlike the usual on-ride videos we post (link below), this time we kept the camera level with the horizon throughout the ride for a slightly different Point Of View.
This record breaking RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) terrain coaster that is the only wooden coaster featuring a LSM launch lift hill. With top speeds up to 73 mph (117.5 km/h) over 3,800 feet (1,200m) of track, it's the world's fastest wooden coaster with forces that can reach up to 3.5 Gs.

I remember when this place was called, "Silver Dollar City." Gotta give it to Dolly though. This is our little gem in eastern Tennessee. Dollywood is a 4.8/5 for family fun and food.

@@soulerflare7 no, the original name was rebel railroad, gold rush junction then silver dollar city now dollywood. That was the original solver dollar city soooo... when they changed to Dollywood, the park in Branson bought the name.
Best way to watch pov rollercoasters
Watching this video gave me goosebumps just like the first time I rode it. The design is so beautiful the way it weaves in and out of that valley and you gain so much speed on each little drop back into the valley.
This is the coolest coaster I’ve ever seen built into the hills and terrain. I’ve never seen anything like it! Amazing.
Oh My God! The speed of that lift hill is crazy and what happens following that is pure bliss!
Horizon leveled POV is the best
I got literal chills at the end when everyone clapped! That coaster looks like so much fun, everytime it did an outside track move someone would give a scared little 'woooo' which made the video even better!
How do you get the train to heart line around the camera? Please do this with intimidator 305.
The elements are great but the constant speed is just a HUGE adrenaline rush! Fantastic Ride !!!
This is such a cool POV. It puts those elements into a way better perspective for those of us that haven’t ridden it before
Lightning Rod is the best RMC or coaster period that doesn’t even go upside down. I had to ride it 5 consecutive times! You gotta go to Dollywood!!!
Normally on a POV, it makes it look slow and not fast but this is truly the best POV I've ever seen

That looks absolutely awesome! It's not inverted so it won't vertigo me out, and it's all about speed, turns and drops.
This coaster looks like one of the best coasters even though it looks like it has a rattle
Has no rattle, I rode it in June of this year and it was butter smooth even in the back row

It’s a wooden coaster(RMC topper track) you should expect something from that.
Another coaster enthusiast with his own channel which is awesome i must admit when breaking down his fav 25 in the 🌎 he named this his #1 i was a lil surprised. He Had mentioned that he was able to ride the coaster before they had to slow the hydrologic down a bit which made a huge difference he added (also adding how upsetting it was that they've had so much technical issues with the ride) anywho i had already checked out the coaster on Utube which gives any ride no justice as actually getting to ride these adrenalin machine's but what can u do. Many of us cannot travel far & wide hitting every killer coaster on the journey for that i am soooo happy happy for channels such as these. I see I'm getting my babble on my bad:( it's a problem!! I just want to thank you for this filming angle I've never seen one like it and it was this alone that had me convinced at why the utuber choose this as the #1 coaster on his list. This angle gives u such an understanding at why this coaster is fucking insane!!!! Please start doing more coaster video's with this Pov it's surreal experience for the viewer.

This coaster was freaking awesome. First thing we rode there. Had no idea what it was, anything about it so that LAUNCH was something SERIOUS let me tell you that was so unexpected!!! So fun, I would ride it 300 times

as someone who has road lightning rod i can say i was not prepared for the drop but I still liked the ride. I rode it in the dark so it was pretty interesting

Toro is currently my favorite coaster overall but I only have 44 credits which don’t include rides like lightning rod, fury 325, and SteVe
