When David Cronenberg made the movie- Viggo was still wearing his fake tatoo's in a resteraunt and two old Russian people saw the tatoos and moved away from them. No Im not laughing. Some movies are made with accuracy and intent and others are not this is a drama and not a comedy funnybody. Go watch goodfellas and have a laugh.
Actually Goodfellas is a better film overall ... don't compare a classic too this , this is a good film and all but for you to say that Goodfellas is funny in a way shows that you know nothing about Film making and also you comparing two different mafia groups , one is Russian other one is an Italian mafia , don't compare both , it like comparing a pumpkin cake to Ice Cream cake , two different things. ( I am actually russian myself , the way they portrayed russians in this movie nearly was done to perfection ) but to this very day I will still say Goodfellas is the best Gangsta movie out there along side with Casino , Once Upon A Time In America , The Godfather Trilogy , Donnie Brasco , Scarface , Miller's Crossing , The Departed , American Gangster and of course Eastern Promises , but Goodfellas to this day was to me a perfect Crime drama / GANGSTA movie that told an excellent story of Italian mafia + Henry Hill story.
