How exciting! Great points on choosing bare-root roses/plants. You have some gorgeous varieties there!

Thanks AJ. I'm trying hard to become a more sustainable gardener with a conscious effort to be more environmentally friendly so I wanted to include this information. Thank you for watching 😁💚🌹

Great video. Here in the states, DA send their roses in boxes and shipped in the Spring. I have over 70+ roses in my garden and DA roses are amazing. I would love to get Summer Song, but they don't sell it here. Looks like you like pink roses, check Jubilee Celebration.

WOW! I can only dream of a collection of 70 roses - that's amazing. Jubilee Celebration is definitely on my list - thank you for the suggestion.🌹🌹🌹

Love your channel! I didn’t know David Austin was doing a sale? How much did you pay per rose?

Thank you so much. I think that if you sign up for the newsletters they will advise you whenever there is a sale. Good luck.

Thank for your very informative video Annette. Is there a rose that would grow in shade. Might get a bit of dappled sunlight, but as soon as the leaves come on the trees then it's no sun. I need a plant to grow up an archway (but not Ivy) l wonder could you recommend anything.

Hi Penelope, I'm growing Mme. Alfred Carrière climbing rose on my partly shaded wall. It can grow to 25ft, is almost thornless and I chose this one because Monty Don has one on his shaded wall. There are probably others. If you would prefer some colour, I have 3 James Galway on the north facing wall of our house and they do brilliantly. They only get about 3 hours of direct sun in the very early morning and only in the summer months, but they have done really well for me. Hope this helps. Annette 🌹🌹🌹

Hi Magi, I am so sorry but I don't know how you can order them. The website has a customer services option so you could try to contact them to ask. Good luck - I hope you can find some.
