I owned a Microcosm for a year - not convinced by Hologram’s products at all. Poor midi clock (wouldn’t reliably start with received transport commands) , repeats were then messy and erratic… reverb sounded cheap. I’m an Eventide boy. Also - watch out for Strymon - Big Sky / Night Sky - they don’t process any frequencies higher than 7k.
Thanks for the comment and advice. I'm currently eyeing up the gamechanger reverb pedal as a performance tool. I'm starting to like the chroma console now but you are right about the irractic behaviour. The gain staging is awful though and there are massive jumps in volume when going from full wet mix to full dry. It's odd.
