It's the same reason you don't un-rack barbell bench and hold it over your chest for 20 seconds before pressing. All in all, you have some killer form on squat man! If so, then go look at his video of him benching 320 @ 175. Or you could have turned on the Arnold's stream today and watched him squat 501 @ 165. Pretty weak squat considering the best squat at the 1st IPF Classic Cup last year was 501 @ 162.

    I know who Ray is. And it's not uncommon to squat high in training as with supers it may take max weights to hit parallel (as it does with Ray by the looks of things). It's constructive criticism...

  • @brickhousepower
    @brickhousepower 11 лет назад

    lookin good Ray. Keep your elbows down. when they shoot up you may have noticed that you lean forward, almost like your folding in the T spine. by keeping them down you will keep you upper back tight and you will drive right through that sticking point. give it a shot. Its an easy fix. could add 25 to 50lbs right there.

    Ray, you will have to decide early on whether you want to associate with those that utilize drugs as part of the training program and lift in federations that have little or no discernible standards. Or, do you want to lift in a tested federation, with over 5000 members, a World Games participant, over 140 sanctioned events/year in the US, members in all 50 states, and a pathway to true international championship. Lilliebridge, Louie Simmons, Mark Bell are none of these.
