  • The next in my completely new Futureworld re edits series and the third in the Spaceship Earth trilogy. See the changes made in 2007 and then take a full multi angle, full HD complete ride through. Great low light photography hopefully shows every detail of this amazing ride. The visuals are coupled with hopefully the highest quality, most complete audio mix available in the fan community, with possibly the clearest and most complete animatronic dialogue available to date.
Afterwards take a full tour of Project Tomorrow and a look in the Siemens Lounge, Base 21.

WOW!! What a great, detailed tribute! It is so cool to know what the dialogue is for these scenes. I have always heard them talking, but was able to make out only a few words here and there. This is so cool to now know what the heck they are talking about. The music is clear, the scenes are long and closeup, and I can really appreciate this ride tremendously more the next time I ride it! Thanks for this most amazing tribute!!! It is gold.

      My ranking for SE narratorS:
      1st place: Jeremy Irons
      2nd place: Walter Cronkite
      3rd place: Judi Dench
Wasn't around to hear the first narrator used prior to Cronkite, so I can't rank him...

It's been a while since I've been and wow, the first half of the ride is simply incredible! the descent needs another rework though, the cartoon doesn't have a whole lot to do with communication, and there's a lot of unused space.

Amazing work and clarity of the attraction, +MartinsVidsDotNet. I have most of your ultimate Tribute series on my channel and they are all fantastic... all the hard work on these have really paid off. EPCOT is my favourite park to go to and is the only park that you actually learn from.

Thank you, Martin!! I was anxiously awaiting Part 3 of this series!!! There were details in some of the scenes that I never saw before, thanks for the great videography and editing!!!! Also I never had any idea what was being said by some of the animatronics, thanks for translating!!!!! I'll "jump on the bandwagon" of future video topics - I'd love to see more of the original Future World and Communicores prior to the 1994 makeover, especially between the Communicores with all the water, bridges and trees, and more views of Communicore in all its glass glory!!!!!
    Thanks so much again!!!

That is an excellent video and a wonderful job done putting it together. Video quality and sound were far, far above my expectations. Thank you for this! I still have a fondness for the 1994 one before the changes, and I think the script in this one is kind of sparse in terms of historical details compared to what was before but, that is me. Your work on this Martin is top notch! Well done!

  • @Strazman

Absolutely love it! I think my first time on Spaceship Earth was back in the mid-80's and I've ridden it at least once every 10 years. So I'd like to think I've been on every reincarnation of it. I feel that Dame Judy Dench's version is the best. Either way, amazing video as always, great editing and production!

I like most of the updates they did with the major exception of the finale/descent: I much prefer the Jeremy Iron version (though I also miss "Tomorrow's Child" from the Walter Cronkite version). I find the whole picture and animation almost cringe worthy (ugh). That being said, I have no problem with Judy Dench as the narrator (though I still miss the Sistine Chapel callout from Walter Cronkite and earlier). I also like this post-show best. I've had a lot of stupid fun with the Power City areas.
Did you know there was a behind-the-scenes tour on RUclips somewhere? I found out about a quarter of the space in Spaceship Earth is maintenance/repair areas, storage areas, ride electronics, a couple of regular enclosed stairways (seriously, you'd think you were in an office building!), and an elevator. Seriously, I had no idea there was so much additional space in there.
Also, as others have noted, I'm thankful for the translations of what people are saying in other languages. Thanks for that. :-)

I haven't seen this version in person, but did see the Walter Cronkite and Jeremy Irons versions. I think this is the is the most coherent version with an accessable script, a great music score and Judy Densch who I would listen to reading the phone book (if they still existed). You can tell she's a smoker.

Yes, as hard as it is to believe, it's been ten years since we've seen the laser chariot. I was very disappointed on that first ride to see it missing. To this day, as my time machine passes thru the Roman scene, I always imagine it in my minds eye.

It was really cool seeing the VIP center. Do the other sponsored rides have similar areas?

    • @christalbot210
      @christalbot210 4 года назад

Yes, they all do. However, when a building looses its sponsorship, the VIP areas become other things. Some become offices, some training areas, and some lounges for Annual Passholders/Disney Vacation Club card holders. Some can be rented out for special events (I think the one in The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends can be used for weddings; or at least it could).

@@CastawayRJ I guess I was a little harsh with that comment over a year ago. It's still pretty good- the things I don't like are: the narrator (lack of gravity to the voice and sounds like she is reading a children's book), annoying flashing light taking your picture in the beginning, the removal of the physical show scenes in the descent and replaced by a cheap screen cartoon. Other than that I still like it a lot, and the soundtrack is great as well as the few show scenes preceding the very top. I still consider it a sore disappointment though in the sense that much wonder and gravity was lost compared to the version before.

This ride focuses too much on western contributions.
