What a cool contrast to see the MD-88 flanked by the two most modernized versions of the DC-9/MD-80 family, the MD-90 and B717(MD-95)! I remember my first flight aboard an MD-80 (DC-9 Super 80, as they were known then) with Pacific Southwest Airlines back in the early 1980s. It took off like a rocket!
This is awesome! I remember a lot of memories with this airplane. I would fly on it into Atlanta almost every time I flew with Delta. The last flight I took on it was from Cancun, Mexico to Milwaukee WI. Tis but a shame to see them go.

I used to fly on them to Rochester they are and will always be my favorites.
