Best year of my life! Shout out to all my brothers & sisters I served with in 1988-89!
7 years after the final pull out in Nam, the greeting I got , WELCOME TO THE KUN! Class of 82-83
I had a blast for my year (class of '90). Had no big greeting like that when I arrived at around 8 pm after 40plus hours of delays and flights. My boss showed up and drove me to the Q and gave me a bag of food since everything was closed. I was exhausted beyond beiief and everything became real the next day in the Land of the Not Quite Right. Great times!
Oh my goodness..i wz at the kun from 80-81..things have changed soooo much..Glad they are getting support upon arrival..when i got off the plane in Kunsan.they told me the old man up north will be coming down by thanksgiving..i got there in late October..
Good to hear from a former Wolf Pack member. Although much like the Marines, there are no former Wolf Pack members. Once in the Wolf Pack, always in the Wolf Pack!

Best assignment I ever had in the Air Force. 8th CES fire department 90-91, 93-97
I loved my tour there! September '85 to August '86. Back then Security Forces was split into two groups. Law Enforcement (L.E.) and Security Specialist (S.S.). I was a Security Specialist. I still miss those F-16's.
Nothing like that in 1972. But it was a Great Assignment.

Who Dat? Stationed at the Kun 96-97, 80th FS, DCC on 87-0259 (OG Flagshp) ... seemed like a lifetime ago ...
