@DigginLife21 the haunch area is that lower half of the pipe that never gets compacted . Guys will usually use 57's halfway up the pipe to avoid having voids there .
I think the customer is going to be very happy with what you left them with. They received a good road base with 1 phone call ,in the long run it would have taken longer and probably cost more .
Enjoyed the journey on this job. Have you thought about starting yet another channel to talk about things that are handy to carry with you? Tools like and such. I think some of us local boys might enjoy a good "knitting circle" about such things. I read that hunting licenses support wildlife agencies, whether you hunt or not. I buy one to support good wildlife management.
Hi buddy looks like fun Todd love watching your channel I really do love the whissel pig would really like to see more of the little guy bugging the life out of you so funny I laugh a lot every time me and my wife see him and buy the way she looks ves the little guy to Todd God bless you and your family the little one is so cute
@stevenp6972 I know it's his right but what does he plan on shooting? Extra holes in a culvert pipe , hornets. Just seems a bit pointless. Here in Ireland we usually just bring a packed lunch and a flask of coffee.
The radio say 1 foot to 2 feet of soil above the culvert this video looks like it’s just a few inches, is that because you’re gonna be adding a foot of crushed rock over it? What are the minimums?
Nice work
Excellent video. Thanks Todd.
Todd just the fact you can lay that culvert down and hardly move in while installing it says allot about your expertise. Well done again!
If you haven't already, it'd pay to check out compaction of haunches for culvert installs.
Many thanks 🙏🏻. Compaction of haunches?
@bp5558 Throwin' down super thanks! What a dude.

What do you haul the 309 with ? A dually truck ? Or a semi ?
Great video and a very tidy job but why do you need to carry a gun to work?
Because its his right

What I meant was Surely there's no threat to his life while digging a road in the woods so why wear a heavy metal object on his person.
It’s for bears.
