He needs a movie about his life! Love this guy. Such a legend
For sure
We need Gianni Paolo to play him!
He said in another interview (with Nore I Believe) he was working on it and he mentioned he'd thought about Jonnah Hill to play him @@mbb1849
Scott Storch is the reason why I became a millionaire, because when I was broke and down, he motivated me by saying: a comeback is always possible. Its all up to you, its all in your head.
amazing!
How did you make your money??
@@RushinVr6I'd also like to know.
Yes i became multimillionaire thanks to him and andrew tate ,i just gave my ass to illuminati in hotel
Enlighten us please
Dude is humble and oozing charisma and talent, inspiring!
Nicest guy in music industry i've talked to!
@@Nooffensetv That's saying A LOT for the recording industry. He's good people. Underrated talent and wisdom.
"I feel like some of these people should have had my back and pressed me to get help."
Moral of the story -- no one is coming to save anyone and people are out for themselves.
Trust NO ONE.
Sad but true…
That’s not true, real friends are there for each other
It’s his own fault period Only you are responsible for your actions stop playing victim
Scott is the reason I bought and learned how to play the piano
Saw interview how his first song is Ray Charles song because his dad. Now I’m like I need to practice so my kids can practice.
"I'm a real producer and you just a piano man...."😅
Me too !!! 😂😂😂
Keyboard for me but i got bored from it quickly, not easy without the talent 😆
@@rednaskela4830talent is nonsense. Nobody sits in front of a piano and plays well without THOUSANDS of hours of studying and practicing.
He's the grown up baby from the hangover franchise!
No cap - this guy produced THE HOTTEST beats and practically is the face of the 2000-2010 period!
People always leaving him out of top producer talks… In my opinion one of the goats
@@Nooffensetv I'm a '90 so 2000's was literally my teen life and imo - the last decade of dope tracks.
Scott is part of the Chris Brown, Keri Hilson era that you just had to be a part of and experience personally to even begin to comprehend this sentence!
Glad I was a part of it in that time of my life in particular!
Scott, if the one in a million chance you see this, thank you. I have looked up to you as a musician for over a decade now, studied your music, etc., but I have now hit rock bottom in my life. But thinking about how you hit rock bottom on a whole other level back 10-15 years ago, and have had the perseverance to rebuild your life, it gives me the courage and strength to rebuild mine. I am in a very dark and desperate place right now, but I have been keeping your story in my head every day. I respect you very much as a person too - you are always humble, calm and collected, well-spoken and not afraid to say the truth about things. I know you were drug through the mud with your fall from grace in the public eye, and you did not deserve that. I respect your strength and character for always trying to be the bigger person, and you really do have a good heart my man. I am now, after 12 long years of waiting and at age 30, finally starting to pursue music seriously, and you are one of the main reasons why I am finally doing it. You are truly one of the greats - on the same level as Dre as far as I'm concerned - and your musical style and sensibilities are what are driving me to teach myself the piano by ear, and in doing so, go forth in my journey of music production and try to find my own unique style and sound, just like you did when you left Dre to try to build your own empire. I am even planning on buying your new KRK monitors once I have the finances to build my home studio in the next few years. I hope one day I have the chance to shake your hand and tell you thank you in person, for everything you, your music and your story has and is helping me get through life, past, present and future.
Good luck man!
@@DJKeepPushin thank you
I hope you find your way brother…just believing in a higher power and praying to that higher power can help a lot more than you might want to believe. I was in my darkest days little over a year ago..I had to burn some bridges and do some things that I didn’t want to do at the time but I’m glad I did because it made me the successful person I am today. And now for that, my daughter don’t have to watch her daddy slowly kill himself. I wish you the best pal🤙🏼 one day at a time…
@@corywalker2069 thank you. Yes I am actually quite religious. I pray multiple times a day to keep my head on straight. I have had to burn some bridges too. They say you never should, but the truth is sometimes you have to in order to grow and move forward
This was a heartwarming comment. I hope you can accomplish everything and more in your musical career!
This is a good interview. The interviewer seems engaged and is asking good questions and keeps the conversation flowing nicely . 👏 👏
Thank you I'm a big fan of him. So just had a tad bit of nervousness going in 😅
when you're a big fan of a musician, dont ask about his personal drug stories and money issues, especially when that has been reported on ad nauseam. I am gonna be straight with you, you deserve as much. I thought this was a horrible interview and Scott was being very polite. It's ok to be nervous, but ask yourself if those things you brought up are really the things "a big fan" would want to know from a musical genius.@@Nooffensetv
Found out like all of us that some people are only there for the ride, but the true friends always tell u the truth and we be there through the thick of it

Wizard with the beats. I remember limewire and downloading all his music. It was my whole twenties, Scott storch

Loved this! We wouldn't be where we are without Dudes like Scott. Thank you sir!
Couldn't agree more!
One love to the Legend! Amazing story. Blessings to him and his family. Prayers up to him and his sobriety. Peace from the LBC. California love!
Great interview, you ask really good questions!
Keep up the good work and you will definitely get rewarded!

I love Scott he’s a genius and a super producer and my favorite producer of all time I met him a while ago in Philly and he’s a great dude and a legend
Seen him in Miami it’s amazing how he’s always so humbled
Great interview. Scott certainly has a gift.

Great interview. So many great songs
Thank you sir
Scott Storch is the reason I get up every day

I have always said that if you are passionate about what you do, you will become great at it. You just "know" how things work and flow within your talent with little effort . I personally define the word Talent as: A trait that someone is born with that requires little to no practice to perfect... This guy was passionate about his talent and mastered it and became great. Kudos to him and his personal successes. Great interview.
Thank you sir for the kind words!
Great stuff man congrats on getting a legend on
Thank you!
Scott Storch is a legend
Yes sir he is
Great interview. I'm surprised this only has 132 views. Good job.

Give it time brother the views will stack
@@Nooffensetv Agreed. Well done.
"...it's melody, melody, and melody."
-Scott Storch
Yes!
Never knew he made so many hit songs until i seen his versus and watched another interview before this. But man he has so many hits
He seems to get left out of the top 10 convo for producers.
He had hit after hit in the early 2000's.
A legacy, legend, prodigy. ICONIC MAN. Blessed with that talent and ear for good shit
18:15 that's that busta rhymes joint, that's dope
18:25 Anyone know what this Buried Alive song was?
Why Dr. Dre is the LGENDARY GOAT of Hip Hop...He made Scott, he mad Snoop, he made 50, he made Eminem, he made Focus, he made Eve, made Kendrick Lamar...I can keep going and going but ya get that point
Yea definitely not the goat and didn't make anybody, took credit for others peoples sh!t like pac exposed. Scott Storch is miles ahead of Dre. Scott can go in the studio and just make a beat in 5 mins off the top of the head, Dre can't. It takes Dre ten years to make one album. Beats by the pound are better than Dre, they released 23 albums in 98 alone.
Scott storch is the best producer in the world I think
ICON!!
Scott storch is a legend
4:50 - 11:00 Ah Ha!
His Transparency & Honesty is Dope.
Seems like a chill dude
Oh wow. Gotta watch. Just typed in WHERE'S SCOTT STORCH now and this video (just dropped 6 mins ago) popped up.
Glad you found it hope you enjoyed!
@@Nooffensetv really good interview. I'm subscribing. Get some more industry story tellers willing to dish... Not Fat Joe tho. He caps too much. 😂
Scott is big and a good producer that impacted the industry positively....... I
Amazing
He is an inspirational dude.
Such a legend
Legend
“Was busta poping or signed when you worked with him ? “ the interview is great overall but that question made no sense to ask. Made it seem as if no research was done. Busta got signed way back in 1990 with his Grupp
“leader of the new school”. His break out verse that made him a superstar was on “tribe called quest “ song “Scenario” from 1992. After that he was a big name in the industry. To ask if busta was a big deal during the recording of his 4th album is a little bit off. But other than that i really liked the interview
Did my due diligence with the research. Again there is so many people Scott has worked with I did the most I could with the allowed time this was a spur of the moment interview. But you are right for sure! Always try to do our best with research just am not to familiar with busta history.
@@Nooffensetv understandable. As a said really enjoyed the interview it’s just that question that threw me off. Not saying that you didn’t do your work just saying that everything else was so well done that when that question came out it was a bit of. But knowing that you don’t know about busta it’s more understandable now. Enjoyed it because you can’t find interviews like this with Scott were he actually talks about the roots and Dre like this. Keep up the good work. And listen to some old busta music you will enjoy it
@@kingdt903 Thank you sir for the constructive criticism. Always open to it! Glad you enjoyed sir!
Love how Drew started off by listing newer artists than the legends cause most interviews seem to put emphasis on “Still DRE” and stuff like that like Storch still isn’t out here working.
I noticed they don’t realize he’s making a ton of music now. Thank you sir. Appreciate the watch!
One of the flyest white boys alive no 🧢
Truth
I’m a music artist who has had a great career,
Obviously Ive not got my artist name on display.
But i went the same route as this guy,
At the peak, cocaine came out of nowhere, baring in mind, I was the guy who was against that stuff.
After hanging with the same people who I was in competition, they watched me get hooked and literally laughed at me as my career began to fall at an incredibly fast rate.
10 years of being hooked to that evil stuff.
I’m happy and healthy now, but the after effects still remain and my career is still there but,
Let me tell anyone.
I was at the very top in my field,
Between me and another guy, my career hasn’t got back to where it was.
It’s not over yet, but I want to stress to anyone younger than me to stay away from drugs and keep your circle very small, I’m talking friends you grew up with.
No outsiders, people that tell you that you stink if you haven’t showered for a week.
Much respect for Scott storch, it’s crazy how similar my journey was, even if not quite to his level.
1 Word = Legend
The man is great
🔥
Thank you!!!
🐐
This interview was good but the guy asking questions has to do better articulating his questions, talking more clear, and just better questions overall
Was a spur of the moment interview. But will work on it for sure! thanks for the watch!
He needs to write a book.
Amazing podcast, love Scott genius producer.
Thank you sir. Was a real treat talking to him!
❤
I’m just finding out this man is responsible for over half the shit I grew up with and I’m about to turn 25😂🤦♂️ what rock was I living under fr 😂😂
Most people really have to do research on him. It gets ridiculous when you start realizing how many hits hes made
This guy's proof. To the fact you can achieve what you want to achieve with hard work. And determination He did take his foot off the gas panel. And I believe getting involved with some of the wrong ladies throughout his career. But Hey, life is a learning curve, right?
100% agree
@@Nooffensetv Yeah, legend, I really didn't know that he was behind that many mega smashes. Inspirational dude
He unfortunately is beyond slept on and not mentioned because of his rough patch in life. @@robertlauderman2226
@@Nooffensetv He's A g for sure and you know. Life is full of lessons when you work that hard for that long and your focused and in the studio Constantly, I can see how It was like I'm gonna have some fun now and then just get wrapped up in it. An start hanging around the wrong people. But life is full learning curves. He just had to get his foot back on the gas pedal
There is no way he doesn’t know a decent level of theory. Wild.
He really doesn't. Hung out with him for the day and watched him produce some stuff for some artists. His process: Grab a blunt and blast speakers until he hears something catchy lol
Was this filmed in Chicago?
Miami sir
How in the hell is the view count so low??
No clue 🤷🏼♂️
Help us out brother
Big Egos is sick how does he not know that song. Stop asking about Still DRE. That’s all this guy knows.
Imagine struggling to make it and then going in a room to play for Dre. Then he just leaves and you think "fuck". Then Dre walks in with keys and cash and tells you he wants you to stay and help him write an album!
Like a dream for sure
He has a really good memory tbh
Sharp as a tack
I love this interview vrs drink champsm the story is told and it's not clout chasing name dropping entertainment
Appreciate that so much! Thank you
I can't get through this. The sound is horrible and the questions are amateur.
Legit, he’s absolutely right… it only takes one girl…. One and your world as you know it will be fukt…..
Crazy one moment changes everything!
My goodness. 1million dollar per month as running expense. some people dont even make in their entire life.
Absolutely insane 😂
The Game second album doctor's advocate is a classic plus Fat Joe's lean back but drugs is an enemy
No the enemy is your poor decisions in your life Period
Homie got that drip 😂
Hey Burnt bridges can be rebuilt.
That’s where the line “ say Dre fell off”?
That girl was eve by the way who put him on to Dre
Yessir!
I wish
Coolest character in gta online
😆
only 626 LIKES? DAMN, PEOPLE SLEEPIN
Finally someone understands!!
Imagine not being familiar with “Big Egos” yikes
Yea after seeing zero reaction from the interviewer to Scott bringing up how they made Big Ego in one day and gettin solidified with Dre and having zero follow up question just about did it for me 👎
Idc how big a legend u r. If you constantly are smacking your lips, I ain’t listening
Made 100 million and didnt give a cent of it to his mother. That aint no kind of man.
lol how do you know how he spent all his money
His worth today is only 250,000 dollars as it was reported lol a joke 100 million was his worth poor decisions and drugs will ruin your income and your life
100 million to damn near nothing a fool and his money will soon part This is not sad it’s his own fault
I wonder if he’s coke out in this interview haha 😂😉
nopeeeee
Imagine letting Scott storch leave your music group 😂🤦♂️
Damn I didnt realize he was American. Ive never heard him speak. 😅 I always thought this dude was like northern European lol
This man made ALL the bangers back in the day. I got mad respect for him.
LOL!
Scott or hiphop elon
When Scott said he wished smbdy wuda helped him get help but people u think your friend is the ones who like to watch u fall when your on top.
Sad but true
This a good interview but holy shit why was he so damn thirsty?????? 😂😂
lol - one of my old homies….Eve…
They really give ANYONE a podcast
Nah it’s called being persistent and working hard. Stop hating son.
The lip smoking sounds is alot
this was an awesome interview. But I have to admit I'm over hearing his drug stories/losing it all. I appreciate how open he is with it, and it's apart of his story, but by far the best part of this was his stories about artists and studio sessions. If you get him again, see if you can just talk about more of that.
1000% I know it has been touched on so much. There is so much more then just that you are right!
that Jill Scott story was crazy!
If you lost 10 million on drugs you'd talk about it to stfu
Scott wont tell you he snorted them millions
He doesn’t have to, we already know!!!
@@TheProPainter yeah but in the interview he acts like it was "bad investments" when in reality that was only maybe 10 percent of his finacial difficulties.
He has stated in a lot of interviews about this. He is not shy about it. I'm sure 10 years or so later he just wants to change the narrative. Very well documented about his financial issues.
Bc we all know 😢
U can’t lose 100mill by the way physically impossible
U can spend it
