    I've been using the 54" HD snowblower on my 2025R for the past 3 seasons, and it's made clearing my 700' driveway a breeze. So easy to use that I was able to sell off my SuperDuty with a plow attachment and rely solely on this setup.

      I have been. Been researching really hard the set up I want. Looks like your set up is close to what I am looking at. I’d like to see more reasons as to why this snowblower is better then the other?
      I’ll be doing a handful of driveways with my property being the main one. Is there a significant piece difference between both units?
      Finally would love to see some of the rear blade in action. I think you said you will be putting a camera at the rear. Look forward to it.

    I have the 47" and used it to clear about 5 driveways up at the cabin. Works awesome. I and my dealership, since I am the first one they've sold, didn't know about the adjustable flow valve. Mine goes up fast and down real slow and loads up the engine. Now I can't wait to try to adjust it. Thanks for the information

      No problem. Took me a few minutes to figure it out at first too but the way it was loading the pump I know it was a restriction somewhere. And when it comes to restriction in hydraulic systems they generate a lot of heat. So I just started looking for what was getting hot.

    I've got the 1983 version of that blower. Many different versions of installation over the years. Don't see any changers at all to the blower its self (except mine is JD yellow). Like your mount better then mine set up. We live in the U.P. of Michigan (lots of snow) we have a 300 + ft of driveway plus approx. 20'x80' "parking area. Due mostly to our hill I have LOTS weight hanging off the back. The blower is a real beast. It has never let me down in the twenty + years we have owned it. Now you just need to do the 240 degree chute mod.

      @@masterofeverything6468 I guess that is a heads-up thing to check. It is the only thing holding the blower to the 3 point. Probably the cotter pin wasn't installed. I was lucky and found all the parts. We had wind last night so more blowing to do today.

    I have that exact same snow blower on my 322. Everyone refers to those as the refrigerator 47.
    They weigh about the same as one but will chew up and blow just about anything you put in it.
    I think you will be very happy with that setup.

    Have the 54" HD on my 1025R which hasn't touched snow yet, I chose to install the JD electric actuator chute control myself. The instructions for it are less than clear and you will need to use the torch again on its bracket. Hate to admit i'm looking forward to the snow.

    • @masterofeverything6468

      looked at the instructions yesterday for the electric actuator, seemed pretty self explanatory to me. Test fit the parts too everything looks good. Cant see where you needed a torch.

    Hey, thanks for this video. There's NOTHING about this blower install on the internet. Crazy. I just started putting together mine. Blower/chute/A-frame was easy, but mine came with zero instructions for the front PTO assembly and installing the 3 point system. Also, mine came with instructions for something called the "Push Brace Kit", and mine came with a bunch of misc electrical wires and stuff that doesn't seem to apply. Any chance you can get under your tractor and take some detailed shots of the 3 point / PTO setup? Or maybe we can chat somehow about it? I'd really appreciate it. Either way, this was already super helpful.

    • @masterofeverything6468

      LOL, Ya. There wasn't even photos of videos online over a year ago then I put mine together. The "push bar" is only needed for the 1023E from what my dealer found. If you e-mail me at masterofeverythingwi@gmail.com I can send you the PDF my dealer found me for that.

    Is that front 3 point hitch arms fixed distance? Or do they move around like the rear? I'm wanting to put rear 3 point items on the front? Would a quick hitch fit on the front? If you can let me know that would be great. Looking to buy a 1025R but really don't want the loader but want to put just a small bucket on the front for hauling land scape rock. Like a WR-20 westendorf bucket

    • @masterofeverything6468
      @masterofeverything6468  Год назад

      The front 3-point is fixed and it in narrow then the rear. if you wanted to put a bucket on it you would likely have to have it fabricated.

      You have to remove the front pto and driveshaft. You can let the 3-point arms on but make sure they are up before driving over the deck. Pulling the front pto is simple it's only 4 bolts.

    Why 47 when your tractors are wider , my X739 is 49 inches wide

    • @masterofeverything6468
      @masterofeverything6468  9 месяцев назад

      The 1025R is only 47.2 inches wide but that not why I went with a 47in snowblower. I went with a 47in because it fits down a city sidewalk without ripping up the grass.
