Hello, if you're delivering in a congested area I'll look within a one block radius for parking. So if I know the next street has my restaurant I'll start scanning the curb before approaching, if I can't find anything I'll just circle around that block. If there's no business you can legally park in (public lot) you'll have to make a judgement call if you want to search further out or continue to circle the block. If there's a pay lot that has a free first hour/30 minutes you can do that as well.

I think i made the mistake the other night of not going back towards the hotspot I came from. Been learning that Doordash pings you an order based on how close you are to a restaraunt that needs a driver.
Aaron Benton That's true i think. On the 4th of July I was on a roll getting $20+ per order and on 1 of the orders I was directed to go to a Steakhouse(hotspot) after completing my last order... YES YES YES. It is crucial you keep track as come tax season you will owe quite a bit if you don’t have any of your deductions. With deductions , you can almost pay no taxes
5:50 but it will show you hotspots that may be in another area, which in my experience you will not get an order. You have to make sure you're back in your starting area.
Great video, im in Inland Empire: Jobs are so spread out you have to really pick and choose. My rating will drop below 40 percent soon but tired driving 6 miles for 6.00 bucks and nothing coming back. Yesterday was offered pancake house 3.50 to drive 4 miles. Pick up you own waffles.

I don't expect Mike to answer so anyone who has a comment please feel free. I drive in a rural area and can not make more than a $1 a mile from having to drive back to where the restaurants are. But I make $18-$20 an hour when I Dash. Still worth it? Yes or No?
Hello, I reset my odometer when starting and record the miles at the end of my shift (after last delivery). Then I'll just keep a log in my phone's notes section. Thanks for watching!
1st time DD 1st order was over $7 for 1.2 miles so I figured that was a win for me. Then I wasn't paying attention was the same but it was 9 miles, but it put me close to another spot & delivery for $8+ back to my local area. My 1st day no order was less than $7 and all miles were under 10. I worked for an hour and a half and made over $24 per hour. If I could have kept going I surely would have been closer to $30 per hour, but I've got a little one so I had to stop for the night. Night # 2 tonight
It took me close to 7 hours just to make that amount in one day. But I was accepting the long drives Nd amounts under $5! 🤦🏻♀️ It was my first day too, so 🤷🏻♀️
I dash in South Florida around Pembroke Pines and rarely get orders over $8 in my area and the majority of the orders I get are in the $5 range. I've been trying to come up with the best strategy for my market but nothing has really worked that well so far
I been doordasher for months now and I notice once I started to decline the orders that pay like 4 dollar or the ones with 10 miles drive I notice my acceptance rate went from a 70 percent to a 40 percent and they stated to send me less orders so i stop doing that what was working for me and getting me a tones of order was not to decline them just miss them example it give u I think 50 sec or 40 or 1 min I can’t remember lol even tho I do this as a full time job lol well I just let the second go till it tell me YOU MISS A ORDER N THAT WAY I ALWAYS KEPT MY ACCEPTANCE Rate high
Every order you wanted or did declined I would have taken reason being where I am it’s all grimy ghetto $2.50 $5 rarely no tips 🤮 but if I declined them my acceptance rate would go way down idk the severities
I would've taken the $11 for 7.4 miles. That's a good dollar to mile ratio in my city. I do have to drive a few more miles but I'm tracking them and hope I don't have to pay any taxes or very little next year with the write off of mileage. Yes, I am depreciating the value of my vehicle but I plan on keeping my car for the next 10 years at least. 40 mpgs Rav4 Hybrid
One thing that I noticed is that whenever there’s bonuses they always try and give you small orders, they look big because they have a few extra dollars so a 9 dollar order would really only be 6. It’s better to cherry pick and take larger orders during bonuses because a $12 order would be $15. Without bonuses I usually make around $8 per delivery anyways so it’s pointless to do the usually when there’s peak pay
Thanks you Mike for these videos it does help a lot :) I've been doing better but worried about decline too many orders. I get stacked orders frequently but hot spots aren't always true . 🥴
Here's my question, and please don't take this as being sarcastic but if you decline all them small deliveries who is suppose to take them if everybody is declining them? And if you decline all them small ones does it count against you? And my last question is driving with doordash do you ever have to pay for the customers food out of your pocket or with a doordash card? Thank you in advance for any questions answered. I'm new to this and thinking about becoming a driver in my area.
Francisca Leon you not the only one 😹 most of us did that. I traveled 35 miles back and fourth for $5 I didn’t even know why I accepted it. I was desperate
Hotspots seem pretty pointless in my area. I drive to one and they send me an order clear across town. Wth? At least for me, the algorithm isn't working.
Yup- I just sit near the restaurants- make my choice- n go.. not worth doin too far routes, cause u gotta drive back.. and I won’t do two restaurants at once, cause no matter what, the last guy is gonna get cold food, and that reflects on u
doordash allows the option for the customer to increase the tip after they receive the delivery. it happened to me a few times where the tip was already reasonable but then the tap on an extra few bucks. thatz how i would want to tip a driver for sure. like ok im gonna tip you $5 regardless but if you get here quick and my food is on point (in tact, temperature, etc) then im gonna throw an extra few bucks on top in appreciation for the good effort
Does anyone else notice when you get oddball payout predictions for instance his $11.60 it seems to me it usually ends up with a bigger tip than predicted? This has worked out for me all but one time since I've been noticed it.
One thing to keep in mind about positioning yourself to receive stacked orders...not all orders are stackable. This is probably due to an agreement between DoorDash and some particular merchants that makes to so that dashers are only to deliver one order at a time from said merchant. A big one that comes to mind is Chick Fil-a. You will never get two Chick Fil-a orders at a time. (Even though these would make total sense to stack as long as the drop-offs were in the same direction) You will also not receive another order from another restaurant until the Chick Fil-a order is marked delivered. The only way to stack orders like this is by having access to a second account. (Not allowed but there’s a loophole....another dasher would subcontract, or hire, you to complete this order)
I always check and see how much money the customer spent on their meal, chances are if they only spent $12.00 and got one item, they probably won’t tip very high. I make far more in tips then i do from door dash so I take larger orders where I get $6.00 up to $20.00 tips plus the base pay. If even if I make 11 dollars on a 2 item order and drive 7 miles, it wouldn’t be worth the trip because I’m not getting a good tip. I’d rather take a large order where the customer spent $70.00+ and I the pay is $9.00 I would take that because chances are with good service they’ll tip me at least 8 dollars.
How far away was it? If it was exceptionally far I would commute back as you may find the Dasher app will never send over another order until you come back. Or you can end your current dash and dash in your current location to reset your assigned zone.
Good tips! If you're watching this and you're in a small market, remember that you'll need to adjust some things to make these strategies work in your market.
Love your videos, very informative. I just started dashing 2 weeks ago. I hve a couple of questions. You not accepting orders does that affect your ratings & also the red card. Do u get more money since you have to take time to order the food for the customer & also do it tell you before you accept if you need to pay with red card... thanks
Yes I'm from Miami..soo freaking true I usually hit 100 130 on weekends Workin from a.m to 10pm on weekdays my goal is 50 a day and it's hard. Mofos down here don't tip much which suxks
I dash in many different cities. I just came down to South Florida 2 weeks ago. I make almost 200 a day yall tripping I worked every zone in the tampa area already. Im dashing sarasota today and was over 100 before lunch.
Hi Mike I'm Mohammad I'm doordash working my customers ratings 5.00 and completion rating 100% life times delivery 1100+ but still I'm not dasher driver please help me how to I'm doordash drive dasher . Thank you Mike Regards for Mohammad
Stacked orders never work out for me. The second order the restaurant is always late. Which in turn makes me late bringing my first order. Then embarrased strolling up to the second order.
I'm never guilty about things that are beyond my control. Customer gets mad? Oh well it's not your fault. Sure you could have declined the order that was taking long, but it's your money we're talking about. I care about that more. One little bad rating won't hurt lol just make sure you always take a picture.
I had a stack order tonight. They can be a bit stressful, but the payout is humongous! The ladies at one of the restaurants are great, and I just explained I had another order with me, and asked for the waiting time. She completely understood and made my order next.
What reason do u put for the decline on let’s say that $7 order distance or some other reason but what if that distance on a regular day is fine?in my area I tend not to do more than 7miles unless it’s a much bigger payout it’s slightly more rural centralized restaurants and then houses are some in town but more are out of that area nearby
Tbh the reason don't matter imo. For all of them no matter the reason I say the order is too small. It's not like they're gonna start sending larger orders after I put that. I've declined because I didn't wanna go to the store and the very next order I got was the same store lmao
In my section of town we very rarely get peak pay and lately a lot of offers are below a dollar per mile. I think we are flooded with drivers and they are taking orders that dont make sense. My rating has dropped from 78% to 54 % in a month.
Have you ever noticed if you've gotten offers that at first maybe are small, then another order that was OK in the same general area as the previous offer. As if the DoorDashes algorithm is trying to get you to that other area because it is or will be busier?
You should just get what you can while the gettin is good.. Peak pays are gonna go away because unemployed people are going to flock Doordash and then there prob will only be 6 dollar delivery
Hey mike, have you seen recently door dash grouping double stacked orders with drop points way out of each other? Also there's a huge sign on bonus of $600 then $400 of friends here in the south...are they trying to flood the market of drivers to reduce pay??
Hi James, haven't seen stacked orders that were really far apart no. For sign on bonuses I've seen incentives on my end paying out up to $1300 for new drivers (not sure what the new driver is offered).
question say i deliver to another zone and after i complete the order then iget hotspots for resturants in that zone would i get ordera from that hotspot
Dude your videos are great! Great tips on Dashing... your channel has the best explanations and detail to detail on how to accept orders. Thanks for the tips! Earlier I had a order I was delivering and I had a address were they didn’t add the apartment number since it led me to apartments and I contacted the customer yet the number was wrong the person who answered didn’t even know what door dash was and said they did not live in the address I mentioned to them nor did they even order from McDonald’s. I was like wow I contacted Door dash customer service and seems like the order was cancelled! They told me enjoy your free food. I was payed what I was promised and had a free frappe and burger lol best Bolivia free meals taste better lol 😂😂😂😎
Today I was scheduled for a $5 peak paid from 4-7:30pm. I drove to that peak paid area and waited on the hot spot but NO ORDERS for 30 minutes. I even tried 3 hot spots. But NO orders came in, so after 1 hour and 30 minutes of NO orders, I drove home and call it a night. Queens, NYC has too many Doordashers that sometimes it's not worth the time even when I am scheduled to dash for that time and day. I really don't understand how you do so well on this job. I got really frustrated on my peak paid time today, I was really hoping to get some good order's from Doordash delivery tonight. I think Doordash app should tell us if there's not much work, the app should tell us to stay at home and not waste people's time being out there for nothing. Doing Doordash is not as easy as you say in your video. I think I'm not the only one out there with that problem of waiting forever for that order.
I can’t even imagine doing doordash in New York. Wayyyy too many ppl without jobs that have signed up for DD. Plus a $5 peak pay usually brings out a stampede of drivers as well as many customers not wanting to order because the surge. Double trouble !
@@plantbasedchef7569 It's the surge of drivers and not enough orders for everyone so a lot of other drivers end up waiting and waiting for a order like me. Customers still would order. It seems like orders out number the drivers ratios. Not enough orders for everyone driving on Peak Pay Hours. Like today, I just give up on waiting and just went home.
Ming Zhang listen when there’s no surge the majority of ppl don’t tip. So when it’s a $5 increase you really think the same majority is gonna order?? I think not 🤣
@@plantbasedchef7569 So when their's NO peak pay, people tip better? I am averaging $10 per hour on Doordash no matter what hours I'm working. Lately I have bad luck on Doordash. Any advice in Queens or Long Island, NYC Doordashing?
Ming Zhang I make anywhere from $15-25 an hr and nothing less or it’s not worth it. Tippers will tip no matter what situation but the majority of ppl that order food just want their food they could care less about the driver having descent pay. My gf dashed in ny before and she said it’s not worth it unless you’re on a bike .
@@noid2612 start dashing and look at your rating it says completion rating 80 percent or below can be deactivated it does not say that under acceptance rate
I started my first doordash today from 9.30 to 3.30 (6 hours) doing this on days I have available with my other business. Surprisingly I made $22 an hour which I thought for a Tuesday was pretty good. I am now wondering if this is simply because of the coronavirus people are staying home or in work more vs going out for food or if $22 an hour is normal for a Tuesday then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are going to be awesome I think.
Thanks for watching Martin, you'll need to see how your market performs to know for sure. I'm sure there is an uptick in deliveries because of the outbreak though
I didnt realize about the stacked order. Nice hack! So, something funky happened tonight. I was confirming I was done with my order, and DD sent me an order for 13 miles away!! I know I would in no way shape or form accept it. Does DD automatically give you an order or did I accidently somehow accept it 🤔 I had to take it cause I did not want my unassigned number to go down any lower. Ugh.
Kathleen York that happened to me when I was trying to end dash last night I just went into can’t do this order and picked the reasoning of distance is too far away just got out of it if it would’ve been a good deal and close to my house or do you know where I was heading I would’ve taken it but it’s weird that that does happen it’s only happened to me that one time but I thought it was weird to😀
@@kasheem1747 how about a combination of them... Door Dashin.. u pick up someone and give them their food and take them somewhere. 2 in 1. Nobodys ever done that. Just created a new business model. Ur welcome
Can you tell me how Doordash can get away with saying sending me a Stocks order but it says like two bucks I mean that doesn’t even cover cover the three dollars I would’ve gotten normally as a base pay plus whatever tips because almost every customer tips so it’s like they’re like keeping some of that money because you’re already at the restaurant so they offer you like a way lower delivery money offer and that just seems like bullshit to me like if that was just a single order they have to pay me a base pay whatever the tip was and any peak pay !!! I get these kind of stocked request orders so often and it’s crazy it’s like I’m not gonna have the stress of a second order and go and maybe even only a mile or two extra but still two bucks I mean that’s just crazy as it happened to anybody else what are your stock orders profits like?? 😀
How do I know I make smart declines? My acceptance rate is 23%. Oops. Need to do more lunch/dinner rushes. 11-2 and 4 or 5-9 rather than just doing it on my free time.
like peak pay is great and all but i find it more going after orders which tip well as well as knowing which places to take orders from. like the chick fla near me is always busy but i usually have to wait ten mins each order so.
The last advice lol and am out is this it’s better to accept 7.50 and up order that u have to drive 2 miles 3 miles 4 miles because u go get it deliver it Quick and ur ready to accept your next order if you get a $10 dollar order or$ 13 ect but u need to drive 8 miles 9 or 10 or more miles is it worth it ppl accept it so quick cuz they say omg the pay is good but is not cuz ur going to take about 20 min or more on just that one order your waist your gas your miles on your car your time and chance to b getting More orders and making more money at the end of you shift i rather do all day 7 dollar and up that are going to take me a Couple min to go pick it up and deliver it than waist my time on a 20 + min order that is only going to pay me 10 ect dollar and ppl expect oh there going to pay me more since am driving 20 min do deliver it but that secure you are that if u get lucky also if you do this full time I advice to do it on the breakfast hours go home go bk out on luch hours go bk home and go back out on diner hours till 10 pm druing the week if not your going to waist your time and gas when rush hours die down and ur only getting like top 3 order per hours o hell na don’t do it
You would have to be using an old android that is too old to use the latest Android OS. That way when you go to download Dasher, the operating system will only download the latest version of the app thats available for the old OS you're using.
@@nonamemusic1932 well thats a lie. Why you trying to keep fellow dashers from getting paid better. I have a new android and another dasher in my group got the cheapest one she could find which is old af and uses it off of her iphones hot spot. It's just an android. If anybody feels like I'm trying to take from their pockets that's just their own stupidity.
He’s not lying. I just saw this video today and I was already doing what he said. I made $720 last week just on doordash and worked 35 hrs. It helps to know a bit about business and every market is different.
Another tip of mine always call the restaurant before you walk in to make sure it’s ready to pick up instead of you waking in and having to wait in that case might as well chill in ur car and wait a bit longer before getting off I always do that also hot spot are not always correct example they send you to the hot spot like close to Panda Express of McDonald’s watever sometime u drive all across town to the dam hot spot and it’s dead no order so my advice is to go to place where usually pick up orders and drive around there don’t sit in one hot spot waiting for long period of time till u get one
All of the topics you mentioned seemed to me to be basic common sense. And it's not just you, I'm noticing a bunch of DoorDash specific channels that drop regular videos, and all they do is state the obvious over and over again. doordash is quite simple and if you can't figure it out everything that was mentioned in this video on your own, you probably aren't meant to run your own business.

Nice shift!
Your videos have been very valuable! I am making on average $92 per 3 hour shift. My acceptance rate is %22. Got to pick those "smart" Dashes!
It took me close to 7 hours just to make that amount in one day. But I was accepting the long drives Nd amounts under $5! 🤦🏻♀️
It was my first day too, so 🤷🏻♀️
Made $172 in about 3-4 hours yesterday, had a peak pay from $5 all the way up to $9 at one point cause it was raining lol
@@franciscaleon7621 you live and you learn and of course after this video now ya know !!❤️
I always look at the miles first. The money 2nd.
@@Mustangkev918 where is your location I’m curious
Good observation I thought I was trippin but definitely seems like the best method. Don't decline, just let the time run out
Thanks
i dont decline just dont accept, my acceptance rate hasnt changed (its 70%). i think they also count it as not accepted.
Every order you wanted or did declined I would have taken reason being where I am it’s all grimy ghetto $2.50 $5 rarely no tips 🤮 but if I declined them my acceptance rate would go way down idk the severities
Great channel mike - what software do you use for editing?
Thanks Dan, iMovie for videos. Picmonkey and BeFunky for images/thumbnails.
How do u decline a order ? U just let the time run out ?
I would've taken the $11 for 7.4 miles. That's a good dollar to mile ratio in my city. I do have to drive a few more miles but I'm tracking them and hope I don't have to pay any taxes or very little next year with the write off of mileage. Yes, I am depreciating the value of my vehicle but I plan on keeping my car for the next 10 years at least. 40 mpgs Rav4 Hybrid
Nice, thanks for commenting Jeff 👊🏻
One thing that I noticed is that whenever there’s bonuses they always try and give you small orders, they look big because they have a few extra dollars so a 9 dollar order would really only be 6. It’s better to cherry pick and take larger orders during bonuses because a $12 order would be $15. Without bonuses I usually make around $8 per delivery anyways so it’s pointless to do the usually when there’s peak pay
Hi im from puerto rico i have a question its better to sit on a hotpot or be a little far away i dont get it i only make 2 orders in the day
Hello, I would sit right next to or at a hotspot
Thanks you Mike for these videos it does help a lot :) I've been doing better but worried about decline too many orders. I get stacked orders frequently but hot spots aren't always true . 🥴
I have a problem declining orders cause now my rating is low ugg
I have been making 250$-270$ a day since few days. Loving this job.
Happy valentines Everyone:)
Threat video and congrats on 12k
I’m that driver who was taking orders less than $5, Nd driving across town! 🙄🤦🏻♀️
Name of the game is dollars to mile ratio!
Dang, you was actually losing money.
TipsyRasta yup, but that was my first day. Now I know!
Francisca Leon you not the only one 😹 most of us did that. I traveled 35 miles back and fourth for $5 I didn’t even know why I accepted it. I was desperate
Yab T Dang! I honestly didn’t know I could decline.
Hey Mike us girls would probably like some girly door dash attire..any ideas?? 😁😊
Etsy has a lot of cool apparel and accessories, I highly recommend checking it out
Hotspots seem pretty pointless in my area. I drive to one and they send me an order clear across town. Wth? At least for me, the algorithm isn't working.
I find my own hotspot and make 2500$/week in Dallas putting in around 60-80 hours
Get out
Daniel Kleinmeier thats before taxes, but you can do write offs to lower taxes
I never drive to hotspots, many dashers. I preffer work from home as starting point for me is better
Yup- I just sit near the restaurants- make my choice- n go.. not worth doin too far routes, cause u gotta drive back.. and I won’t do two restaurants at once, cause no matter what, the last guy is gonna get cold food, and that reflects on u
This video is on point and your absolutely right
doordash allows the option for the customer to increase the tip after they receive the delivery. it happened to me a few times where the tip was already reasonable but then the tap on an extra few bucks.
thatz how i would want to tip a driver for sure. like ok im gonna tip you $5 regardless but if you get here quick and my food is on point (in tact, temperature, etc) then im gonna throw an extra few bucks on top in appreciation for the good effort
Exactly a base tip is nice but if the driver provides great service (to the extent that we can today) then sure increase the tip
Another San Diego dasher! Sweet!
Let's go 🙌🏻
Benihana would be a DECLINE! I had a $3 Red lobster and no tip no trip
It was a order popped up on me was $4.25 for 12.1 miles boy bye...
Superb video bro, the quality of this is amazing
Where would you recommend DD in San Diego?
Does anyone else notice when you get oddball payout predictions for instance his $11.60 it seems to me it usually ends up with a bigger tip than predicted? This has worked out for me all but one time since I've been noticed it.
$8.50 is another magic amount. Accept all those and you’ll see the total increase.
I don't see a lot of people talking about this! Good topic!
Ya it helps. Allays look at the mileage
Interesting thoughts, I'm trying to think if I've ever had a stacked Chick-fil-A order haha now you got me thinking!
I do around 10 miles a day and do average of 23 dollars an hour how do you come out with the mile deduction
I meant 100 miles a day
Your deduction would be 100 (business miles) x $.575 (standard deduction for 2020) = $57.50
thank you I just started 3 weeks ago and I am doing very well I watch your videos
Good strategy Robert
I took an order to another city with alot of restaurants around. My app did not show any hot spots. Sit and wait? Or commute back?
How far away was it? If it was exceptionally far I would commute back as you may find the Dasher app will never send over another order until you come back. Or you can end your current dash and dash in your current location to reset your assigned zone.
Good tips! If you're watching this and you're in a small market, remember that you'll need to adjust some things to make these strategies work in your market.
Love your videos, very informative. I just started dashing 2 weeks ago. I hve a couple of questions. You not accepting orders does that affect your ratings & also the red card. Do u get more money since you have to take time to order the food for the customer & also do it tell you before you accept if you need to pay with red card... thanks
I wish it would tell us the miles from the restaurant to the home! The drop off sometimes looks closer Nd it’s not. 🙄
Hi Francisca on DD you do get the total estimated route miles
Hey Mike, how does those tax reductions work?
come to south florida! i dont think you can do this much with dd. its a struggle to make $90 a day
Unfortunately I do hear that out of FL, lower pay
Yes I'm from Miami..soo freaking true I usually hit 100 130 on weekends Workin from a.m to 10pm on weekdays my goal is 50 a day and it's hard. Mofos down here don't tip much which suxks
I dash in many different cities. I just came down to South Florida 2 weeks ago. I make almost 200 a day yall tripping
I worked every zone in the tampa area already.
Thank you Mike
Regards for Mohammad
Hi Mohammad thanks for watching, are you referring to Top Dasher? If so this program isn't available in all markets.
My acceptance ratings is very low only 15% But many people new received email .
I just realized I can decline the order.
I had a stack order tonight. They can be a bit stressful, but the payout is humongous! The ladies at one of the restaurants are great, and I just explained I had another order with me, and asked for the waiting time. She completely understood and made my order next.
Depending on how far away the first order is, you can go deliver the 1st order and the 2nd order may be ready or almost ready when you return.
Hi John, what market? Are other apps paying
Have you ever noticed if you've gotten offers that at first maybe are small, then another order that was OK in the same general area as the previous offer. As if the DoorDashes algorithm is trying to get you to that other area because it is or will be busier?
Yeah i think sometimes the algorithm makes u go far areas sometimes its annoying
for sure. all the apps do that
You should just get what you can while the gettin is good.. Peak pays are gonna go away because unemployed people are going to flock Doordash and then there prob will only be 6 dollar delivery
Gig apps have been getting a lot of new drivers but that has been really since February/March, I think most marketplaces should be leveling out
Just finished working mission valley. Good day today
Nice job 🔥
Hey mike, have you seen recently door dash grouping double stacked orders with drop points way out of each other? Also there's a huge sign on bonus of $600 then $400 of friends here in the south...are they trying to flood the market of drivers to reduce pay??
Hi James, haven't seen stacked orders that were really far apart no. For sign on bonuses I've seen incentives on my end paying out up to $1300 for new drivers (not sure what the new driver is offered).
question say i deliver to another zone and after i complete the order then iget hotspots for resturants in that zone would i get ordera from that hotspot
Lets go
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@YourDriverMike mike have u done a video on how to select peak hours
Also if you get a stack order, sometimes one order is ready Nd the other one isn’t.
Very true!
You cannot be deactivated for acceptance rate completion rate yes but not acceptance
Did you confirm that with doordash? Pls let me know your source. New dasher here
@@noid2612 start dashing and look at your rating it says completion rating 80 percent or below can be deactivated it does not say that under acceptance rate
Have 0 clue where everyone keeps getting these $7-9 dollar orders. All I get are 3.00-5.00 orders. I’ll be lucky get a $9 dollar order.
Ugh.
Kathleen York that happened to me when I was trying to end dash last night I just went into can’t do this order and picked the reasoning of distance is too far away just got out of it if it would’ve been a good deal and close to my house or do you know where I was heading I would’ve taken it but it’s weird that that does happen it’s only happened to me that one time but I thought it was weird to😀
My area never gets peak pay ._.

Best Door Dash tip... dont do it. Do ride sharing and collect all the bonuses instead. Make more quicker in less time.
With who ?
@@kasheem1747 lyft or uber
My strategy would be whatever niche pays the most, if it's rideshare, food delivery, parcel or grocery
Door Dash should have ride sharing it would be much better!!
Hi Jennifer, yes I've seen those here in SD as well, sub $3 orders. Decline always
How do I know I make smart declines? My acceptance rate is 23%. Oops. Need to do more lunch/dinner rushes. 11-2 and 4 or 5-9 rather than just doing it on my free time.
Do you feel like we have to stay at 70% for top dasher?
Doesn’t do anything for you if you schedule your hours before hand.
So jealous of your peak pay lol rare thing in my area 😂
Even so the strategies still work in any marketplace! 👊🏻
Remember, he’s in San Diego, CA, where the cost of living is insane.
like peak pay is great and all but i find it more going after orders which tip well as well as knowing which places to take orders from. like the chick fla near me is always busy but i usually have to wait ten mins each order so.
I DoorDash in NY and we get the same $6-$7 peak pay on weekends.
stay up on holidays cause you can grab $100 in an hour or have the best day of the year
that’s good for the short amount of time
Thanks for watching Robert 👊🏻
I dont look at milage I look at time like 30 min $10 half of $20 for an hour, and also drop of location.
The last advice lol and am out is this it’s better to accept 7.50 and up order that u have to drive 2 miles 3 miles 4 miles because u go get it deliver it Quick and ur ready to accept your next order if you get a $10 dollar order or$ 13 ect but u need to drive 8 miles 9 or 10 or more miles is it worth it ppl accept it so quick cuz they say omg the pay is good but is not cuz ur going to take about 20 min or more on just that one order your waist your gas your miles on your car your time and chance to b getting More orders and making more money at the end of you shift i rather do all day 7 dollar and up that are going to take me a Couple min to go pick it up and deliver it than waist my time on a 20 + min order that is only going to pay me 10 ect dollar and ppl expect oh there going to pay me more since am driving 20 min do deliver it but that secure you are that if u get lucky also if you do this full time I advice to do it on the breakfast hours go home go bk out on luch hours go bk home and go back out on diner hours till 10 pm druing the week if not your going to waist your time and gas when rush hours die down and ur only getting like top 3 order per hours o hell na don’t do it
ICE MAN my goodness, I’m thinking you were asleep or stoned in English class!
Get the old doordash version 5.63.6 on an android and see the full payouts all the time.
🤔🤔🤔
How can I get that app version?
You would have to be using an old android that is too old to use the latest Android OS. That way when you go to download Dasher, the operating system will only download the latest version of the app thats available for the old OS you're using.
@@nonamemusic1932 well thats a lie. Why you trying to keep fellow dashers from getting paid better. I have a new android and another dasher in my group got the cheapest one she could find which is old af and uses it off of her iphones hot spot. Just need to disable the google play store and you dont have to worry about updating the app.
@@chuckp1506 lie or not that's just the only way I can think of it working. Simba studio engineer. I have an old macbook that can't attain the latest iOS version thus only allowing me to download the version of LogicProX closest to that operating system. Don't get your panties in a bunch. It's just an android. If anybody feels like I'm trying to take from their pockets that's just their own stupidity.
Most money what, doordash even play with earnings and ratings come on just bc for your blogs you lying
He’s not lying. I just saw this video today and I was already doing what he said. I made $720 last week just on doordash and worked 35 hrs. It helps to know a bit about business and every market is different.
7miles for 11.00 I decline over my 6 miles unless they giving bonus pay
Another tip of mine always call the restaurant before you walk in to make sure it’s ready to pick up instead of you waking in and having to wait in that case might as well chill in ur car and wait a bit longer before getting off I always do that also hot spot are not always correct example they send you to the hot spot like close to Panda Express of McDonald’s watever sometime u drive all across town to the dam hot spot and it’s dead no order so my advice is to go to place where usually pick up orders and drive around there don’t sit in one hot spot waiting for long period of time till u get one
Hey Mike, what’s your recommendation/opinion/story on driving for Caviar? I don’t see any videos you’ve made on it and wanted to see what you think?
Hi Rick, I signed up awhile ago they just never on boarded me or they're not active in San Diego (usually one of those reasons)
Caviar was bout by doordash they r on our network now since 8 24 2020 no more caviar
