Love the color combo. One way you can avoid the HTV showing through the satin stitching around the applique is to have the design stitched out with a tack down stitch, you can do a double stitch to make sure it doesn't move, then remove the excess HTV with scissors then continue with satin stitching. Just a tip.
I just subscribed to your channel. I want to get back into embroidery again. My Brother PE 500 has no usb to transfer designs. I never saw anyone do embroidery with glitter htv before. Thank you for this tutorial. This made my day. ❤
Hey Meeka! I just found your channel and have really appreciated your videos. I do cricut but am wanting to learn embroidery because my mom is giving me her machine. I have always thought you had to sandwich the garment between the hoop but obviously you can't always do that (Onsie for instance) so you have taught me how to go about it. Hope to see more videos soon!
I was so glad to find your channel. I'm new to embroidery on my Janome 550e and it's great to see you using the 500e on projects. I look forward to more from you! Thanks!
Hey heyyyyy. Thank you!. I don’t remember the exact one, but It’s a varsity font I found on Etsy. You should be able to type in “varsity embroidery fonts” and it should come up.
Good evening! Your tutorial is great. So does your design have to fit inside the box? If so how do you adjust it? I am using Embrilliance Express. Thanks!
Hello, the box is the hoop size I am using. Yes, it has to fit inside the box. I’m not familiar with the options available in Embrilliance Express. - I usually adjust by changing the font size, selecting the object and click and holding one of the black boxes surrounding the design to adjust or Selecting the fit to hoop option. Keep in mind adjusting too much can distort the design.
Has floating the sweater worked better than hooping it when it comes to embroidery placement? I've had my embroidery end up slightly off and I swear it's because of the hoop. No matter how much I measure to make sure it's center in the hoop, the embroidery will occasionally be off.
Didn’t know you could put a page in for a glitter and other texture vinyl, thanks for the discovery, can I also ask why when you embroidered the hoodie is it inside out so that the inside is the front?
Beautiful 😍 What type of stabilizer did you use on the hoop? Do you put any stabilizer in the inside of the sweat shirt? Thank you so much for sharing ♥️
Hi 👋🏽 welcome! 🤗… the Mama is 4 inches and the words under is 1 inch with a half inch between them. 10 inches across. (I usually put Mama between 4- 5 inches) in my designs. The thread I use is Madeira 💜💚💖
I’m testing this out now and for some reason, my brother PE single needle 900 does not like the white glitter HTV that I’m using, because I am getting gaps on the stitching and I am not sure how to handle that because I really liked HTV glitter. If I use regular vinyl, nothing happens. It comes out good. if I don’t use any vinyl, the stitching comes out perfect too, so I’m guessing it’s the glitter HTV that’s not working for me. Any suggestions? Thank you
The 1st thing that comes to mind if this was happening to me would be to try using a little adhesive spray to lay the glitter vinyl down before stitching. If that didn’t work I would try a different type of HTV.
I just watched your video and subscribed. I'm new to the embroidery industry and I wanted to know why did you press your shirt inside out instead the other way.
Hello 👋🏽 … I like to do it this bc the part that I’m want to adhere to the shirt is closest to the heat ( the back of the HTV glitter vinyl). Plus I’m just used to pressing inside out bc when I press kids clothes I always do them inside out bc I add a stitch cover. & it’s already inside out after removing the extra stabilizer
When you buy the design do you save it on a stick then put it in the machine and do you have to have the embrilluance software too Like I said I'm new...lok

Hiiiiii … Thank you 💜💚💖 - The hoop size is the approx 8x11 hoop and the stabilizer is the mesh no show stabilizer.
I love your channel. Do you remember what font you used for the words below MAMA?
Hey heyyyyy. Thank you!. I don’t remember the exact one, but It’s a varsity font I found on Etsy. You should be able to type in “varsity embroidery fonts” and it should come up.

Floating has always been the best option for me for placement.

Hiiii @tyda2876 I only use the glitter HTV with embroidery - and yes it is inside out so that the inside is the front … 💜💚💖
Beautiful 😍 What type of stabilizer did you use on the hoop? Do you put any stabilizer in the inside of the sweat shirt? Thank you so much for sharing ♥️
Hiiiiiii 👋🏽. _ I used no show mesh stabilizer and I only put it on the hoop none inside of the shirt. Thanks for watching! 💜💚💖
BOSS! ❤

Hiiiii 💜💚💖… I got you!…
My next video I’ll give more details…
First Watching your channel and i subscribed. I would like to learn how to embroider. What machine and size hoop are you using?
Hello 👋🏽… I’m using the Janome 500e and the hoop size is the approx 8x11

hello, where did you purchase your thread and what brand is it
Most of my thread is Madeira Polyester and I purchased it from allstitch.com
Can i use normall iron for this?
Yes, you can
Do you use regular HTV vinyl or is this a special embroidery HTV vinyl?
Hiiiiii!…💜💚💖 … No it’s not Special embroidery vinyl but make sure it’s the GLITTER HTV vinyl.
@@ariahnndesignsWhat brand of htv did you use?
What version of Embrilliance are you using?
Hiiiii 👋🏽 I have all of them, but I believe color sort is in the essentials version. 💚💜💖
@@ariahnndesigns Thank you for the quick reply!
Will the vinyl peel if you don’t heat pores at the end?
Hello- eventually yes - & it will not hold up well in the wash.
💜💚💖
And what if I simply iron it on? Will it work?
Most people just heat press at the end like a regular Htv design
What heat press machine you have?
Hello, the press is the HTVRONT auto heat press… I purchased mine from Amazon.
Where did you get the mama appliqué font download from?
From Etsy. Search - Varsity appliqué fonts
When you buy the design do you save it on a stick then put it in the machine and do you have to have the embrilluance software too
Like I said I'm new...lok
