I love giving y'all tips and tricks like these! What videos do you want to see in the future? Let me know!
Coming through with that championship knowledge!
Had conditions like that, up here in Minnesota last yr. the first day after the rain. Water temp dropped a tad. Fish stayed, didn’t move at all. Sun popped out, and water temp came back up, and they moved shallow. Definitely was a learning experience, for me to remember. Anyway, love the tip Vids. Have learned a lot from you, over the yrs. wishing you, and the SMC household, good luck. It’s all about them DONKS!!!! 👊🏻
Show us how you analyze lakes on google maps before fishing them please! Somewhere like Table Rock Lake!
One of you actually driving to a tournament!!!😂
Doesn't matter you aint made a bad video yet
Today is 3/21/2021. If Everyone that watches this channel hasn't been watching on Bassmaster Live/BassTrakk, you should have. Let's just say Scott started with a 6!! Let's GO!
Wow, unbelievable generosity, this information is gold! Thanks Scott I pull for you every week. Catch em 🔨
Love all the videos, You are the Gold Standard in the Bass Fishing Video world. My favorite was the fishing stories video, simple but very nostalgic, I still laugh about the Rusted lids on the Uncle Josh pork chunks lol, keep it up!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on how to deal with these situations, and your experience!
Thank you for the great tips Scott
You should do a video fishing in Louisiana for redfish and trout with fresh water bass lures
That’s not a bad idea
@@ScottMartinChallenge Scott Martin replied too my comment 😦
I caught a rainbow trout on a rattle trap, and it has a Senko in its stomach
Thank you for the tips Scott! A lot of good information you gave out! Love the channel! Look forward to every video
Do more videos like this one with everything you said I have learned a lot. Thanks.
We will
I just logged on and saw a YT video of Buddy Gross catching a biggin. And not to put bad juju out there but SCOTT MARTIN IS IN THE FRICKIN LEAD! COLD CHILLS!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!🇺🇸
Wish I was still in the lead but I’m going to go out tomorrow and get back in first! ....Hopefully lol
@@ScottMartinChallenge I wish also my friend. Don't worry about the pressure, as you know your Daughter just fished her first Tournament. You WIN! Congratulations 🎉 I know you badly want to win, your fans want you to win, Bassmaster I'm sure wants you to win, I know the sponsors want a win, but you already won. The circle is complete.
Great tips scott as always👍👍
love this Bull Shoals floods a lot, so thanks for the tips, last year 28 ft high for a long time, have fun and keep praising the Lord
Go Get 'em, Scott!! Good luck.
What a start to day 2!!!!! Got a solid chance to win this one. Cannot wait for the tournament videos.
Grassi Outdoor Adventures here, Scott your videos are my favorite so far. I really enjoy them.
Perfect set up Scott
Great video. Thanks keep this up. Really appreciate this. Thought process during event.
Niiiice tutorial on how to adapt, improvise, and overcome those type of conditions!!!👍😃. This is kinda how we do it on the James River and Chick a lot. Like your choice of baits toooo!!! Goooood luck in the tourney!!! 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🍺
Man I just really like your content rising water can be one of the toughest challenges a fisherman can face thank you for the tips and good luck this weekend
That’s some good stuff. Thank ya. 8:00 EST we will tune in. Good luck !
Would love to see you breakdown balsa baits and flat side balsa. Perfect time of year to talk about it. Thanks for the content and hard work.
Always learn something new watching your vids keep it up.
a Scott Martin video right when i needed one!
Hope tomorrow goes well. Planning on coming to weigh-in tomorrow. Hope to see you! Good luck & God bless!!
Old school jack bell days Potomac river bait!!
Good luck Scott on winning this tournament. Go towards Florence around the Matchez Trace because I see a lot of bass fishing in that area. 👍🙏🙏
Great video I love when you post
Really like all your videos! Great info! Would like to see a video of you, your dad and maybe couple former and current champions. Just sitting around a table or campfire telling stories of past tournaments and best memories. Keep up the good work and good luck!
Let’s shine this weekend Scott👍🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Your videos are awesome this one in my opinion is the greatest watched you weigh in on day one--Saturday then watched this it is so awesome seeing you put your tips and knowledge out there and then back it up with 18 and change lbs awesome job pal love your videos best of luck
Thanks very much David! 👊🏼
Good stuff! Because of the current doubling, should translate into stained water. I’m liking the chatter with a big profile to move some water at a slower retrieve. Swim jig is always tied on, and I do like the crank bait options!
Thankyou Scott
Great tips Scott. Rising water can be the hardest time to catch 'em. If there is good current and regular pool I like to find points that have a deeper side down current and throw a 1 oz weighted Carolina rig with a 2 foot leader rigged with a plastic craw dragging to the deeper eddy side. If they are there smacking it I sometime back off a crank that side with lipless crank baits this time of the year. Good luck and catch them bass!
Love the content as always man 🙏🏾💪🏽
Thanks Andy!!!
I've been buying up hand made balsa baits because of you, let me tell you that's a rabbit hole and there are some amazing artist out there painting these things. They are so good I'll hate throwing them, but I'm going to 😃😅
I watch all your videos and it helps me out alot. Here in Missouri watching.
That’s awesome dude, glad I could help!
Great info Scott wishing you all the luck in the world . Go get um!!!☘️🏆👍
I honestly learn so much from u Scott
Must be brutal down there! Had to actually work instead of following along lol. Stay safe with the high water. Awesome video. Sounds like a solid plan. Tear them up!!
Love your stuff
Thanks for the tips. This really helped. I have a tournament on Kentucky lake on Saturday so I will use these tips.
Good Luck Team SMC. More important, be careful. All that rain, flooding, and current is just asking for bad lake debris conditions. BE SAFE!!!!
Thanks Bill, we will!
Awesome videos Scott! Thank you. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Thanks Richard!!
Great info on you videos such useful tips wherever you fish have used several here in Az and caught fish
Thanks for the tip. Good luck, sounds like your experience with these conditions may just help you to a high finish. I hope that day 2 is not cancelled!
Ok #1 McCoy gets a raise. 4 real. #2 I know you are a bass fisherman but a lot of us just fish for anything and we don't have boats. It would be nice to do some videos with white bass, striper, crappie, catfish, etc. #3 I want to see some wins this year and #4 keep making awesome content! #5 show us your bill dance style bloopers.
Hey brotha I appreciate the good tips we are all dealing with these rains right now or are going to eventually during spring. So it applies to all of us.
Good luck Scott. Your the man.
Thank you!!👊🏼👊🏼
Oh baby!! Our boy is leading, got a ways to go today but what a great start!!!!!!
Thanks man!
Love this video! I learn this way! I live on the tuffest fishery n the country the Ohio River, so it’s hard for me to learn how to adjust with conditions bc it’s always extremely tuff anyhow! Thanks for the insight Scott it helps dude
I’m glad you are enjoying the content man, thanks very much!!
Take off the trailer on the spinner baits. I don't know if I ever caught fish with a trailer on a spinner bait. Win this one Scott. Catch some Biggins!!
Really like all your videos, seems like you put a lot of thought in to them. Good luck in the tournament.
Thanks man. Glad you are enjoying them! 👊🏼
Appreciate the insight and good luck on day 1
Thanks Eddie!
I learned a lot during this video. The 2 days you spent fishing (practice sessions) was incoherent babble. I suspect most people would agree: no-one cares how you wake people up. Just get to the fishing. LOL
Last spring I got a chance to fish with a good buddy on his boat on the Susquehanna in PA. River was up 6’ from snow melt. We were fishing the normal stuff, current breaks, big rock piles, island eddies etc. well I noticed a fish bust in some flooded timber and saw some baitfish jump. We both immediately tied on chatterbaits and fished flooded timber the rest of the afternoon. Put 40 in the boat in 3 hours, all 2-4 lb fish. Catching smallmouth on a chatterbait and braid in flooded timber is pretty awesome
Chatterbaits are awesome for this
Great info! Thank you!
Thanks Scott!
@@ScottMartinChallenge your welcome from vermont sir

My wife and I found your station this year and love it!! Good luck at Pickwick! Picked you and Matt in fantasy on Bass Pro Shops website!
Scott I just watched the video of the smc with your mom on the caloosahatchee river in la belle from a few years back. brought some memories back from fishing of the dock there in La belle Fla
Thanks for the tips,as I live in an area of NC that has been in and out of flooded conditions for about a year and 1/2, and pretty steady flooded for 3 months or more, fishing smaller ponds have been difficult
I see your in the top 5!!!!!!! Pulling for you!!!
Awesome 👏
Had one of my best days on the water after a big rise overnight. Fish rushed to shallower water to spawn, and I smoked em on a frog in and around cypress knees and duck seed that was dry a couple days before!
Fishing shallow lakes with minimal cover. Thanks Scott
Fished the Tennessee end of the lake today and they were munching’ pretty good.. ready to see what kind of bags y’all bring in!!
I just can’t catch any fish so far but I’m still stoked to meet u 😂
Thanks for the tips Scott 👍👍. How do you always get lucky and get the garage lol lol definitely came handy with all the rain!!!!
Good luck to all of you.
Floating worm work great too
Good advice. I love on Ky. Lake so all that water is heading my way. Good luck.

Seen your first video and knew this weather we had yesterday would change your pattern. Was curious how you would adapt to find other techniques to overcome this challenge. I'll stay posted to see what works.
