- These breakfast potatoes are so easy and will become your go-to breakfast potatoes recipe for company and Sunday mornings! With a few simple seasonings and spices, these tasty potatoes will be a welcome addition to your breakfast Morning routine or brunch. Breakfast Potatoes also sometimes referred to as Golden Skillet Potatoes are incredibly simple yet so delicious and full of flavor.
Ingredients
5 russet potatoes
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
salt to taste
3 strips of bacon
1 teaspoon of paprika
3 Jimmy Dean all natural pork sausage patties
4 tablespoon unsated butter

I made these today for Mother’s Day. They are delicious!!!! I sprinkled some trio cheddar cheese and scallions at the end! Soooo good! Boiled my potatoes in chicken broth instead of water for more flavor.

Sunday Morning Love this recipe that 5 mins timer on the boil is VERY IMPORTANT you don't want mushy potatoes and you don't want them too hard either but as soon as the potatoes hit the boiling water set YOUR TIMER to 5 MINS
I need to do that next time. I thought it was a total of 5 minutes. Mine didn't boil and they're a little hard.

I just made this and it was so amazing!!! I did it as a test run to see if my family would like it, I ended up eating it all. Oh well tomorrow is another day, they can have it then, but as for today my tummy is happy.

I stumbled on this recipe a week ago and decided to give it a try for breakfast today.
It was by far the best breakfast potatoes I've tasted.
The bacon was excluded because I had none but I could only imagine if I did have it. Otherwise the combination of the other ingredients complimented each other well that I would say it was seasoned to perfection.
Definitely making this my go to breakfast potatoes recipe.

Yes what a lovely breakfast on Sunday my student days we used to get 5 or 6 students together two used to chop the potatoes and 2 used to cut the onions to big frying pan full of food and bread buttered and lots of tea what a memory and music on BBC2 thats all you need. Just made this today and it was delicious. I had to guess on the amount of onion to put in (1/2) but other than that it worked out well. I did cook my onions a bit before adding the potatoes, but to each his own. So glad I found this recipe. Appreciate your sharing and showing you you prepared it. Love the spices too!
