    Nice..the wirral is my local haunt...i was at parkgate about 4 weeks ago for the high tide.....had some great hen harrier sightings

    Just before you go to the Canada geese there was 2 Barnacle geese in with the Pink-footed geese.

    As ever great video. How do you tell the Red throated diver from the Black throated in winter plumage from those distances? I really struggle, is there anything obvious to look for? Thanks!

      It helps that I know the Red throated divers frequent here in winter. they also seem a little paler grey and have a slightly upturned bill.
