Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
    Shrek
    Spy Kids
    Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

    1975:
You had ‘One flew over the cuckoos nest’ a movie so good it swept at the oscars, and deservedly so.
You had ‘Barry Lyndon’ one of Kubrick’s best and one of the most well shot films of all time.
You had ‘Quest for the Holy Grail’ A masterpiece in the parody genre, and Monty Pythons comedic masterpiece.
You also had ‘Dog Day Afternoon’ Sidney Lumets banks heist movie, with one of the best Pacino performances ever, and an insane emotional climax to boot.
There was also a few foreign gems, mainly ‘Seven Beauty’s’ and Andre Tarkovskys ‘Mirror’ (anyone who watches Cinefix knows that one well)
And if your more into the summer classics, they’ve got Spielberg’s ‘Jaws’ and Tim Currys strange musical madness in ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’
(Also, although I haven’t seen them yet, ‘Dolemite’ & ‘Nashville’ came out that year, both remaining quite culturally significant)

    2007 is probably my favorite:
    No Country for Old Men
    There Will be Blood
    Zodiac
    Hot Fuzz
    Ratatouille
All these movies are 10/10 in my opinion

for example, The terminator, ghostbusters, the never-ending story, karate kid and so much more

Hey brother! I'm new to your channel and love your content! I know I talk about movies way too much lol. This is a great list! A couple of years that I would include on my personal list of the greatest years in film would be 1992, definitely because of the rise of the independent film, 1974 and though it's cliche, 1939. All stellar years in my opinion with some all-time greats released. 💖

This video has truly made my day! The most important film that came out in 2014 definitely was Sharknado 2 for me because it garnered even more buzz through Twitter and became the one sequel of that franchise that actually is loved just as much if not slightly more than the original. The Sharknado series is one of my top favorite franchises of all time. I think the ultimate year for movies was either 1985 or 1994
