You might want to call your current provider first before deleting the eSIM. Because switching a SIM card requires validation such as sms authorization which will be sent to your number and you'll have to follow instruction from that sms to proceed. Being unable to receive that sms will consider your SIM or eSIM as lost or stolen and your provider support will have to do further validations in order to complete the process.
Call first, get authorization thru sms, have SIM changed and then delete you can delete the eSIM afterwards. make sure your line can receive sms and that ur not calling from it as the call will drop as SIM changes.
Some carriers offer self serve options where you can manage your SIM/eSIM online. cheers ;)

I regret getting the iPhone 14pro cause of this esim BS i can no longer just pop my physical SIM card into any of my other phones and just go. What can we do? For ppl who have more than just one phone? I’ve yet to find a video to help with this problem. I don’t want to deal with my carrier all the time. Complete utter bs that Apple did this to us.

I won’t be upgrading my 12 pro max to 15 because of this issue . I just got the flip 5 .. I think I will just stay with Samsung until iPhone goes back to physical sim

If you do this, you will have to keep going to your carrier to switch back to physical SIM card & pay

If I already have a registered SIM card and I accidentally put 2 eSIM cards on my Galaxy. S241 for my watch and one for my phone. Do I have to register my SIM card? That I got from T-Mobile.

You have to pay for the SIM card..
If you have an old SIM card that has been deactivated for a long time it can not be used again.
What I wanna know is if you converted you SIM card to an eSim . Can you still use your old SIM cardon another phone . So essentially you have two phones using the same number and data.

I just got an iPhone 12 from cricket got it with a ported number to get it at the current deal of $199 but they activated it with a SIM card. I have a different cricket number I’d rather use with it instead. Am I able to just delete the eSIM and put in the old sim I have and use it with that number instead?

hi! I switched my iPhone 13 over to esim while traveling overseas so I could put a physical sim card in over there. Now I'm home and I've removed the overseas physical sim and want to switch my phone back to its original physical sim. I'm afraid to delete the esim in case I have to register the physical one all over again.....will that happen? Or will the phone simply recognize its original physical sim. thanks!

Huh. What if you don't have a sim card slot, and you don't want to store anything on your esim? Can't i offload my esim to a physical sim card and will that completely delete my esim contents. Say every 30 days i dump my esim to whatever cloud or transfer portal so that 8 have a physical card for my records. Any breach could wipe out my esim, i have to have a physical copy and i cannot believe this esim is even a thing. It seems very shady at a time when these companies seem to be making a play for some convergence with government to own us.
