Some people don’t like when the hair is always in a dynamic pose but the calmer hair usually hinders articulation and the newer Wandavision one has good hair
I found this figure at my local FYE. I’m happy to have this figure. Because this is how I was introduced to her. This is always how she appeared in Wolverine and the X-men because she was like this in the series
The figure seems good, kinda wish the pink was a bit lighter to say the least, everything else is good. But i will confess I'm passing on her, why? Well it might be because since i have the Wandavision Scarlet witch and honestly I'm happy with having that figure that i don't feel that tempted to even get the comic version, sounds weird for some people, but i prefer to just be happy with the figure i got, plus since i do love mcu figures.
You’re right about the boot tops. They should have been pointed, but I can live with that. The Family Matters version would have been my favorite ML of all time if not for that hideous paint scheme. This new one is pretty close to perfect in my eyes. I can’t wait to get her!
I was not collecting when the family matters three pack came out but I’m glad I ordered this new one because I think it is an all-around prettier figure with the contrasting colors an outfit
IDK what the sculptor used as reference for the face but it has an Adam Hughes vibe all over it. Dont know when was the last time AH drew something for Marvel
I wonder if they will ever do a retro cardback original vision again because the one that came out a few years back is very rare and cost a fortune to get now. Love to see a second one done. Great review I think I will pick this up and hope they do a quicksilver in the future.
Imagine of they used the new female (Shriek) body mould for this. The head is very well done. I agree that the front of her boots should come to a point. Still looks pretty good.
I prefer the brighter colors on the retro card, so even though I have the 3 pack version and adore it I'm still getting the retro. Fingers crossed Hasbro releases a proper Mastermind and green Quicksilver to go with Toad later this year to fill out the OG Brotherhood, which darker Wanda can go with.
I think the metallic colors were cool, but this version is more accurate to the comics and actually scarlet, which is important for the character. I do prefer the darker hair on the metallic version though.
happy with this since i missed out on the Family Matters set, but I wish we got another costume like the All New All Different costume or even another Pietro would’ve been cool but i’ll take what I can get
I honestly think the 3-pack is still the best version. I like the colors on that one better. The bubble gum color on this one makes it feel too much like a children's toy.
The boot cut is been drawn flat sometimes in the comics (Buscema, I think) so it's fine to me. I wonder how it looks with the All Father head. I kinda like the old head sculpt but hate those go go boots LOL. A shorter heel would have been perfect. Great review!
Al father wave is nothing compared to family matters three pack the shin in the plastic and the shading in the hair and the clean face job is unbelievable
While they are doing these repaints I would like to see them rereales Quicksilver on the Retro card, but in his green uniform, and with hair that comes more to a point on either side.
Whens the top 10 mcu legends of 2021 coming out? 1- 10 the whole Eternals wave lol. Yeah right 😊. Man we got so many this year. Myself at number 1 would have to put Infinity saga bro Thor or No Way Home Dr. Strange. Hard to choose the rest. Shang Chi wave was awesome. All the Disney plus waves were solid. Finally got a Zemo. Can't wait to see your picks
I’m new the the whole action figure and especially customizing thing but, does anyone know or have tips on swapping her legs with shrieks since they’re painless theyd look much better, or are they too incompatible to combine

@@benjaminwiseman6567 They have the excuse of using matte colors for Vision. They could also make him with a taller buck like Spider UK. But I get the retro card might still be an issue.
I really have to disagree about this figure being so much better than the allfather witch, her crown is lumpy here. The boots are wrong. The pink on her bust doesn't look as good as the bare chest. Her face and hair sculpt is very 'dated'! She looks like a valley girl from the 80s. Just too much pink! The only thing that makes the older Hasbro scarlet witch worse is her high heels! Those made her impossible to stand without a good flight base. Her peg holes in the feet don't fit a standard base. Still better than this super perm, bland face thing
If they had given us a Wanda with flowing hair, it would be amazing. they need to start offering more expressive head sculpts.

Finally pulled the trigger on this and this figure is so nice.

Retro version reminds me of how the great George Perez drew her. Metallic Wanda version is going on eBay. I'll be getting this classic version!
The Scarlet Witch family matters and the Retro Card figure are Awesome figures.Differ in Colors but the same in appearance.
I like these colors better than the colors from the 3-pack
