I think France can do even better given how loaded they are and will continue to be. Their attack is (and has been) very stale without Mbappe. He saved them from getting absolutely destroyed by Argentina in the final.
They need more fresh thinking in their attack and not over reliance on counterattack and absurd overfocus on conservatively playing defensively so much.

They were so used to defending, that they forgot how to attack.

But then I remembered that they have Rodri, Carvajal, and surprisingly, F. Ruiz. These are players who thrive under pressure and make the best of it. Anything can happen in a final. But Spain will most likely lift this trophy. At the very least, they are the best team of the tournament. Such a breath of fresh air in this era of tactical defending football!
