I agreed wholeheartedly that “sharpness does not dictate a good photo.” For me, modern cameras & lenses are often too sharp, vivid to the point of being sterile to stunning-of course, it all depends upon your “vision” of your images. Motion blur, obscura, negative spaces, shadows all add mystery, motions or contrast to one’s story in photography. Serr, a well presented video in visual motion & editing, still images & monologue. ✌🏼& 📸

You do Fujifilm a great justice. I stumbled upon your channel recently, and now I am going through and watching all your videos! I shoot Fuji as well, not that that is the only reason your photos look fantastic. A great photographer has nothing to do with what camera he is using, I simply found it coincidental that I use similar gear and I have a similar style. I also have a filmmaking and photography YTube channel and your work is just inspiring. Such presence and ambience. SUBBED.

To me the difference is minimal but they are both the same thing, glimmerglass just adds a shiny texture & is weaker than the pro mist, so a 1/4 pro mist is equivalent to around a 1/2-1 glimmerglass! I just dropped a video on diffusion filters & I touch on the difference for a bit.

I appreciate the way you tell stories in photography and video films, I think you have mature techniques and ideas to shoot films, I suggest you try to shoot documentary films on other themes, or conceive drama films, shoot short films. I am a retired CF director, and I also try to shoot my movie stories with my mobile phone, but I don't have photography equipment and funds. I am very happy to be inspired by your films, and I hope to make friends with you, maybe we can cooperate in filming feature films in the future. Hope to see your videos all the time.
